    The Underated/Overlooked/Underappreciated boxer threads

    Of today in my honest opinion;

Tim tzuyu (a reincarnation of his legendary pops)

Yves ulysses jr ( a whitaker/mayweather hybrid; beat the brakes off that hypejob seldin)

Kosei tanaka ( 3 weight world champ in less than 3 fights like loma. Definitely p4p material but never in any)

Sho kimura (personal fav of mine; beat and retired zou shiming, definitely foty with tanaka. Came close to beating tanaka whereas every other opponent of tanaka has been run through)

Masyuki ito (wbo superfw champ who upset pitufo diaz. Noone mentions unification with him for some reason)

Oscar rivas ( great lil addition to the heavyweight division)

Karlos balderas (all this talk about ryan garcia, teofimo lopez, rolly romero but noone ever mentions the dark horse balderas)

Richard commey( robbed against easter and shafikov. Deserves his ibf belt finally)

Andrade ( idc , he will rule the division once its said and done)

    Jeff horn ( just kidding)

Who is some of your underated boxers who dont get enough shine?

Artur Beterbiev is arguably one of those. He is ranked as the world's seventh best active light-heavyweight by The Ring magazine, and eighth by the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board and BoxRec.

This doesn't do him justice. Seventh best? Eighth best according to Boxrec, lol.

I say he's top four or at least top five.

After what he did to Badou Jack, I really feel like Marcus Browne is incredibly underrated.

Rob Brant (Constantly left out when people talk about 160)

Brian Carlos Castano (as proven vs Lara)

Luke Campbell (2 Loses by Split Decision, Redeemed one of them and I think he would beat Linares in a rematch)

Radivoje Kalajdzic (VERY Live Underdog vs Beterbiev who defense and head movement is not good at all)

        Michel Soro

        Carlos Adames

Jarett hurd. A lot of less deserving americans get more exposure having done a lot less.

Some guys that recently lost close controversial decisions in big fights and others. Very underrated beforehand and maybe still are:

-Noel Gevor (2 losses were controversial, beat Briedis imo)
-Juergen Braehmer (he schooled Rob Brant)
-Matvey Korobov (recently lost a controversial decision to Jermall Charlo)
-Brian Castano (Very close fight with Lara, drew with Lara)
-Michel Soro (Had a very close fight with Castano)
-Yordenis Ugas (Lost a controversial decision to Porter)
-Viktor Postol (Had a very close fight with Josh Taylor recently)
-José Zepeda (Lost a controversial decision to Jose Ramirez)
-Luke Campbell (1 loss not avenged but it was a close fight with Linares)
-Miguel Berchelt (doesn't get the credit, very good wins over Roman, Miura and Francisco Vargas)
-Jesus Rojas (Lost a very close decision recently, had a close fight with Jo Jo Diaz, upset Marrero)
-Azat Hovhannisyan (Lost a very close decision to Rey Vargas imo)
-Richard Commey (2 losses are debatable, looks improved in his last fights)
-Alejandro Santiago Barrios (arguably beat Ancajas recently)

Tim Tzuyu's potential is well recognised in his home country, the problem for boxers there is to get good fights without the dislocation and cost of moving to, say, the US. There is plenty of talk about him fighting Horn but really that would benefit neither as basically it's only the rankings that recognise the potential/ability of non US fighters. Horn is a great example of that, he has lost just one fight yet has been written off by many. Makes no sense but that's the way it is.

That's a nice list. Some others added some good names too. There's a lot of good boxers right now, lots of great fights coming.

You made some good calls, you could pretty much list any of the top guys under 115 because those fighters don't get any shine outside of Asia and Latin America. But anyways, guys that come to mind for me that can fight but never get any pub:
                  Artem Dalakian
                  Liborio Solis
                  Carlos Castro
                  Shavkatdzhon Rakhimov
                  Boots Ennis
                  Yvan Mendy
                  Kiryl Relikh
Mimoune and Postol imo, which is why I'm intrigued by that fight
                  Michel Soro
                  Liam Williams
                  Maciej Sulecki
                  Junior Makabu
                  Arsen Goulamirian
                  Alexei Egorov
                  Mateusz Masternak
                  Evegeny Romanov
                  Arslanbek Makhmudov

No Lindolfo Delgado? I just saw him fight once and he looked pretty good.
