Eduardo Rocky' Hernandez waited months to finally fight for the first time in the United States and under the co-promotional banner of Golden Boy Promotions. The unbeaten knockout artist from Mexico City didn't exactly savor the flavor, blowing out Tanzania's Ibrahim Class in just two rounds Saturday evening. The bout streamed live on DAZN in supporting capacity to unbeaten lightweight Ryan Garcia's own two-round stoppage of Jose Lopez atop a sold-out show at Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, Calif.

Hernandez has power but I don't think it'll be enough to stop Berchelt. Vargas...maybe. Either way, the featherweight division is stacked. If Hernandez wants a title, he's got Oscar Valdez, Leo Santa Cruz, Gary Russell Jr, Josh Warrington, even Can Xu which would be a fire fight

Berchelt wants no part of Rocky... If he’s able to retain the WBC 130 lbs in the rematch against Vargas, I wouldn’t be at all surprise if Berchelt drops the belt and moves up to fight Loma for bigger money. Either way, Rocky will be a champ sooner than later, he’s currently rank #2 in the WBC 130 lbs. rankings. The pundits weren’t kidding when they said he was the best prospect out of Mexico since Canelo the kid is a special talent. In a yr or two Rocky vs Tank gonna be a mega fight just like Mikey & Loma is now.

Hernandez has skill but I wouldn't put my money on him based on recent opposition. Berchelt wants bigger challenges and if Hernandez is next in line then he better be ready for his first loss cause those body shots are going to kill him faster than what it did to Roman. He won't vacate not till he cleans out the division.
