Comments Thread For: Eubank Jr. Training With Virgil Hunter, May Switch Trainers

I thought Vazquez did a good job with him in the Degale fight. Not sure switching trainers again is the best thing here. Should stick with Vazquez.

        Stealing trainer from Breazeale? Nice.

Regarding Eubank Jr, it's less about who the trainer is and more about whether he actually does as he's told by them. The lad has fantastic natural attributes, but has done little to improve on his technical ability since his first pro fight. As Groves and Saunders have proved; all anyone has to do is avoid a brawl, stick to their boxing and they'll beat him with relative ease.

Completely agree, showed real improvement in a very short period of time. Was excited to see what would happen over a longer timeframe of working together.

He would fight him any day of the week but he would probably be outboxed.

I like Eubank but I don’t like the way he undermines his trainers. I think switching to Virgil would be a great move but he has to show respect to Nate who he achieved the greatest win of his career with.

He needs to stay well away from Benavidez. He put my brother j’leon Asleep easy

I wanna see Virgil whispering to Chris with Chris Snr in the background just staring at both of them in horse riding shoes and wearing his sherrifs badge & monocle.

J'Leon is trash! I wish Floyd would put as much effort into Tank Davis and Andrew Tabiti as he did for J'Leon Love and Ishe Smith!

I thought Eubank Sr. said something about going to 160? If so, I would love to see Charlo vs. Eubank Jr.! If Peter Qullin beats Caleb Truax, then Eubank Jr. vs. Quillin would be great, however I think Quillin is also trained by Virgil Hunter. Maybe Eubank Jr. is sparring with Quillin for his fight on April 13th?

If you haven't seen Chris "Lil' B-Hop" Colbert, then you can see him on the undercard of Quillin vs. Truax! He's a BAD BOY!
