Comments Thread For: Crawford: Not Looking At Khan's Chin, I Look At How To Get Win

Terence Crawford is regarded as a considerable favorite to beat Amir Khan on April 20, but don't expect the unbeaten pound-for-pound king to blindly believe the fight will go chalk. The switch-hitter from Omaha, Neb. is covering all bases ahead of his second welterweight title defense, which will headline an ESPN Pay-Per-View telecast live from Madison Square Garden in New York City. He fights for the third time on location, scoring stoppage victories in each of his previous two trips.

best attitude to have, but Khan's recent performance doesn't fill me with confidence that this will be anything but a Crawford W.

Easiest way to beat Kahn? Keep things tight for 4-5 rounds while he expends all of his energy, then go on the hunt as soon as he starts slowing down. It's the same in all of his fights; he just does not have the stamina to keep up his aggressive attack for any longer than that - and his energy levels don't wind down slowly, they fall of the edge of a cliff.

Crawford usually attacks the body of his opponent. Wonder how Khan will react to that.

              **** on

He doesn’t have the brain to stick to a game plan either . After a few rounds he ends up throwing ****** combo’s which ultimately gets him ******

Pretty sure Prescott didn't need to do that. I think Crawford can just overwhelm him from round one. Khan isn't even a hard puncher.

Don’t think it’s stamina, it’s just a matter of his opponent timing his speed.
