Arum and Fury have taken over boxing and cats like Hearn and cans like AJ have nowhere to run or hide.

Fury is the cash cow and A side, and Wilder and AJ are nothing without him.
In a parallel fecking universe maybe!

Fury still isn't earning as much as AJ therefore can't be the cash cow and is booked to fight Tom Schwartz next hardly a takeover by anyone's standards LMAO. Wilder and AJ are the only two official World champs nothing you say changes that or Tuesday fact AJ is rated above Fury by every organization.

None of the HWs are near Pacquiaos level of starpower except for maybe AJ, Mayweather level ain't even worth talking about yet.

80,001.....I just wanna see Sor Vs Estrada and then chanelo vs jacobs and then Aj vs Miller......so Top Rank and PBC better step up their game and as a matter of fact I avoid any PBC ppv on a matter of principle

          Is there true though?

For starters, let's simply talk about the FOX schedule; Charlo double, stay busy for Leo Santa Cruz, Keith Thurman-Lopez, Porter-Ugas, Danny-Granados, Hurd-Williams, and Harrison-Charlo 2 as 7 of the 10 main events so far (assuming that Dirrell-Benevidez gets one of the FOX headline dates, but can't place the other two just yet; also assuming Spence-Porter is the second half FOX PPV).

With the undercards largely featuring good matchups, the dates are being filled rather nicely, I'm.

Eddie has put on fewer quality US cards per capita than Arum has in the last 6 months.

DAZN is the GBP, WBSS & Joshua show. The rest of Matchroom holds little appeal for even most US hardcore fans outside of the mere appeal of boxing in general. And I say this as a cat who was initially excited about the impact Eddie could have in the US & am still hopeful he figures sh^t out.
ESPN is going headlong into their push to sync up everything with the UFC; ESPN basically bought out the Fox Sports deal, their own content deal for ESPN+, and have now taken over UFC's PPV business.

I don't know how much time is left on the deal, but it seems pretty clear that UFC has ****** up near all of ESPN's attention, and that Top Rank Boxing has consistently underwhelmed so far.

Eddie's deal goes bust and he still has Sky Sports in the UK, with Showtime still likely having interest in Joshua, Callum Smith, and Daniel Jacobs again when he clears his DAZN deal (though likely ****ting on Hearn the whole way).

Where does Arum go if he gets pushed out at ESPN by UFC? Haymon isn't going to bother with him, Espinoza isn't going to be excited about doing business with a man who has spent the last how Kenny years calling on his demise, and Arum has basically burned every other bridge there is to burn.

Could easily see an environment where Egis Klimas buys out the contracts of the guys he manages, Frank Espinoza gets his guys out of their contract, Robert Garcia Boxing looks to move his guys, and Terence Crawford makes sure that Bob Arum pays him every penny that he's owed.

Hard to say Hearn landed anything. When it comes to ratings, Hearn is dating a 2, making fun of Arum who's with a 6.

The UFC has popped better than TR with ESPN, but I don't think its an either/or situation. I think TR & UFC can co-exist on ESPN.

And hell I think Bob is one of the bad guys of boxing, but I'll take the over on him getting cut out of boxing in the next 2 years unless he dies anyway.

And didn't ESPN just re-do/extend the TR deal last year or something? I doubt ESPN is getting out of the boxing business AGAIN so soon after upping & extending their TR deal.

Come on guys, lets be honest... We all have a subscription to DAZN rather than ESPN+. I have a firestick and am fortunate enough to watch all PPV event for free, but I still went ahead and subscribed to DAZN but not ESPN+

With ESPN adding the 12 PPVs, we're likely talking about 35 fight nights now tied to UFC; short term can be whatever, but I doubt that, long term, ESPN can commit that much attention to the UFC while still giving boxing any real focus. My opinion anyway.

And yeah Top Rank Boxing will likely try to self produce shows online, so Bob isn't quite vanishing.
