This fight is not to gauge where he's at. We already know where he's at. If Borat was at maximum confidence and compete level he would've come back already and would've fought Charlo, BJS, Andrade, or Dervenchenko.

The fact that he took this long of a break and is fighting a tuneup tells us everything we need to know. He's not at full confidence/compete level.

The time off might have been good for Gennady because he did get beat up in the Canelo rematch. Even if you thought Gennadyovich won (he didn't) he still was a beaten man and needed a long rest. I can't remember the last time Gennadyovich took a break and the training regimen alone shortens fighter's careers. This break was both needed and overdue if you ask me.

I'm not saying GGG is going to be fully rejuvenated when we see him, but I don't think he'll be a shadow of himself. Regardless I expect him to beatdown Adams or N'Dam and probably get the stoppage.
    My goodness.
This is the very first practical post you have done about GGG.
GREEN K for not being such a biased ******.

Borat is a good fighter. Whether you think Canelo won both, Borat won both, they split, draws, whatever...both of them are essentially neck and neck.

It is very fair and honest to have the rounds 12-12 after 24.

I am a fan of Borat/GGG. I just don't like his groupies (like you) who swore up and down GGG would beat prime Floyd/Manny/SRL/SRR/and Ali all in the same night

      Get hung *****

Possibly. He's a coupla years younger than GGG but extravagantly mobile styles don't typically age well. That said he's coming off one of his career best wins in (a probably also washed up) Murray, so there's a kind of legitimacy there.

Still one of my favourite fighters N'Dam, and I probably overate him, but it's a fight that should have happened 6 or 7 years ago.

            June. Time is a wastin'.

May for the Usyk fight. This should all be announced already.

Can't announce a card if they don't have the fights settled. Be patient.
