Well yeah getting hit is a part of boxing, regarding Khan I just think citing it entirely to his lack of a chin is dulling it down too much

For all his speed he's very sloppy and often wide open to getting cracked on the chin.

Take the Canelo KO for example.

And I saw Maidana hit Khan clean plenty of times - Khan didn't go down, not once.

Yet a lighter puncher like Sam Vargas or blown up lightweight Julio Diaz can put Khan down
