Respect to Jakey D cuz I'm a fan & wish him the best, but that's a f#cking awful sentence. I assume he was going for some humor with that, but yea thats a weird way of saying what he's saying.

Kid is 20 ffs. If he can hang at the top at 20 fair play to him but going from his current opposition to a title holder soon doesn't make a whole lot of sense when you got a highly sellable to the mainstream Justin Bieber looking mfer who's got 15 years of paydays in this game potentially.
Don't wanna have this kid be the next Fernando Vargas putting him in too deep to early.

I think Shakur Stevenson knocks this kid out. I don't know why Ryan is being forced down boxing fandom, its okay to like him if youre a 16 year old girl but come on this kid is trash!!

Ryan has looked nothing short if excellent since he added Reynoso. He was already a elite amateur 15X national championship over 200 wins but he was trained by his dad who took him as far as he could. He needed to get with a world class trainer. He became stagnant in his improvement his last 2 fights before Golden Boy got him with Reynoso. In just 2 fights Reynose has drastically improved his defense which was his biggest area he needed to work on. He's only had like 4 or 5 months with Reynoso and he's made this fast a impact overall but especially defense. I would give him 1 full year with Reynoso before a title shot. What's the rush he just turned 20. lol He is only going to keep getting better. He has the frame, speed and pop his future is bright. I don't see just 1 world title with his height his upside amd ceiling is numerous titles spanning many weight classes.
