MANILA - Retired American boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather arrived in Manila from Maldives on Sunday.

His private plane touched down at around 3:30 a.m. and parked at a private hangar where he was met by Filipino friend Lester Codog of Foilacar Industries.

Codog said a private meeting between the undeafeated boxing champion and Philippine Senator Manny Pacquiao could happen if the latter'schedule permits.

Mayweather was scheduled to fly to Boracay at 7 a.m. Sunday using his private jet.

Codog said Mayweather's private visit was planned less than a day ago.

I wanted a rematch right after the first, but I've no interest now. Floyd has been too inactive. He'll lose and tarnish his legacy for a check. If Pac loses to an inactive Mayweather, he'll look like a joke.
This one is past it's freshness date for me.

Is Floyd that money hungry? Or is he having financial troubles?

Either way it's not a good look for him.

The thing is, he is rich but not wealthy like a multi billionaire. If he can make another $100m+ for a nights work, that is still a lot of money to him and a decent % of his net worth.

In that respect, it must be hard to resist when he knows he can pick up that kind of money for one more fight, whether he is rich or having financial troubles.

Unless you're on the level of a Bill Gates, there isn't anyone on the planet that could pass up that kinda money so easily.

I hope they don't fight. The first fight turned a lot of casual fans off of boxing.
Can't imagine the second one would be any better with these old farts.

Everybody bought it then complained about it after so they won't do it again.

This is 10 years too late.

                    Same sentiments from me.

Also, I'm weird though because before the first fight I didn't really want the fight to happen-- I felt like it was too late.. Then after the first fight, I wanted a second one
