The light heavyweight championship reign of Oleksandr Gvozdyk is officially underway. The unbeaten boxer from Ukraine will make the first defense of his 175-pound crown as he faces France's Doudou Ngumbu, which headlines Saturday's edition of Top Rank Boxing on ESPN live from the sold-out 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Penn.

I like the fact that Ole has been kept busy. Would love to see him and Browne unifying their belt.

Not sure why Ole wanted a voluntary before going straight for Browne, but can't do any harm (unless he loses of course) as gives him a fight to work on some stuff.

Can't see any reason why Browne not next given he's the mandatory and he's up for it, should be a good one.

Could not agree more this 3 league BS sucks for sport I mean we have more boxing then ever but the quality is the worst then ever before. This guy is not even top 15 what a joke of a fight if this keeps up I don't see ESPN making any more deals with Arum or boxing period now they have UFC which I hate but at least the best fight the best a lot more.Although they have been protecting their stars more and more as their PPV numbers have tanked but new deal with ESPN will prob help that.Again Arum is fuc king up sport im sry to say this but if he dropped dead tomorrow I would not be bothered at all.During this man reign boxing has become smaller and smaller and other promoters need to take a lot of credit too but this guy has been around longer and has a GREAT chance with ESPN to bring boxing back.Haymon is also blowing HUGE chance to bring boxing back to main stream.

Me neither because this fight is a joke and he has ZERO chance of losing.

Psychologically, it may be good for The Nail to see where he's at with a relatively soft opponent after what he did to Stevenson. When Mike Perez fought Takam after the Mago fight he didn't seem all there and was a little listless like he was going through motions. Probably good for Gvozdyk to work out any mental kinks with this fight then fight Browne.

We need more belts so we can have more champions. I think 15 belts per division would be better because everyone deserves to be a champion and everyone deserves to compete for a championship belt.

I also think that fans should get championship belts for their loyalty. The referees definitely need championship belts too.
