Alright guys, I know it probally wont happened because unlike King & Arum, Shaw doesnt seem like a guy who puts 2 of his fighters in the ring together but he should do it if it makes money.
Right now Chico has no fight and Harris just got stiffed on the Mighty Mike fight. I think Harris will probally fight anwyay but he's the kind of guy that will fight anytime and I could easily see him fighting again in a short stretch like 2 months.
Since Shaw promotes both guys and they both have no opponent right now, I think he should let them meet at 140 in September at Madison Squar Garden. Harris is from Brooklyn & Chico has a style that everyone loves to see fight so I think it could sell pretty well and the media would eat it up. So would us fans.
Who else do these guys really have left to fight? Sure theres a couple of guys but none of them are the big names because all of them have moved to 147. I could see Chico waiting around to see if he could have a mega fight with Pac but I dont see that happening.
This bout has fight of the year written all over it. Think about there styles & attitudes. Think about there physical traits. It would look great to see 2 tall skinny guys at 140 with big right hands, who both have nice speed, and alot of skill. I want to see this fight bad. Put it on "Boxing After Dark" since theyve had some bad fights and it would be great for boxing. I keep going back and forths and I still dont know who wins this one.
