There’s levels to this game and J rock is not on Hurds level plain and simple. I see him beating Spence pretty easy if he decides to move up as well. Spence hurt Mikey with an accumulation of punches but never actually dazed and had him in trouble with one big punch. Hurd would walk right through that and wear him down. I think he’s the best at 54.

I'm not big on J Rock either Hurd should win easy, probably a TKO around Rd8. I think Hurds defense is leaky, he makes for it with heart and volume punching. He's heavy handed but not a big puncher more so a volume puncher that puts a lot of constant pressure on his opponents. Spence is a high volume, sharper puncherwith better boxing skills. I think Spence does everything better then Hurd and that will be the differnce in this fight if it happens. It may get bumpy or not but Spence beats Hurd. I think Spence would be a good fit at JM. So Ill take Spence over Hurd at 154,That would be fuego match up. Something tells me this will be a hottie if it gets made soon. No over marinating but not just yet. I can see Spence having a 2-3 more fights at 147.

Hurd made $1M in his return against a bum TKO4 in last fight alone. Charlo won the Harrison fight easy, the corrupt judges awarded Harrison a gift decision. Charlo fought well enough to win easy, out worked him. Harrison very smooth boxer at times but doesn't look very rugged and not big offensives fighter so O don't see him lasting. Hurds the man at 154 and I don't see him leaving PBC so probably will continue to fight 154. I want to believe Hurd will get big fights at 154. They should of done Charlo Hurd already so hopefully less marinating in the future. Maybe its me but Al/PBC seem to have a hard time making good fights or very good at avoid them! With the exception of Hurd Lara fight and Santa Cruz Framton and few others. I look at Adonis Stevens avoiding the biggest fight option of his career against Hopkins and then Kovalov! Gary Russell Jr with all his skill, wasting away as he fights once a year mando. Thought he might fight Leo Santa Cruz but haven't heard anything more on that match up step it up!

It became a dazn division 4 months ago. Stop it. Hurd can clean out his division increase his star power then ask for 3x what he can ask for now.

Look at Terrence Crawford, cleaned out a weak division now he’s p4p. He’s fought less top flight competition than porter but is worth way more. Finish what you start maximize $ potential
