Not a chance will Usyk take step-aside money... and certainly Hearn will do his best not to allow anything like that to happen, certainly not to help Top Rank / ESPN.

Usually only do interim titles if champion moving up in weight but might come back down to defend no weight after hw but yea I wouldn’t be surprised if they had something cooking like that

Most orgs have a rule that they can make up any rule at any time.

WBO said Povetkin was the mandatory, then Hearn told them to change their mind, so they changed their mind and suddenly Povetkin wasn't the mandatory. Hearn did this so WBO would stay ahead of IBF in the rotation so Hearn could stall the Pulev fight as long as possible.

Then Hearn wanted Whyte as mandatory, not he wants Usyk as mandatory. The WBO was clearly just going to do whatever Hearn told them to do.

One problem though. Nobody has more pull with the WBO than Bob & Frank and now that Bob & Frank have created an unholy alliance, we'll have to see how far they can get the WBO to bend to try to get that belt on to Fury.

WBO could say Usyk can only be mandatory if he immediately fights for the title, not fighting Takam, etc to build towards a shot. We'll see. Remember, it's Hearn's MO to lie to the public about who is mandatory or who will become mandatory.

Hearn is the last person to be talking about fighters opponents. He likes to talk smack about other promoters fights when he should just stay quite. Hearn's cards of lately have been garbage, especially in the US. He's been matching a lot of his fighters against bums. Jacobs and AJ have at least legit opponents, but what about everyone else.

"Get him in position for title"He already had one 50 -50 deal and walked away and then said even if you sign with ESPN still no next fight and MAYBE 2nd.Since then they have come out and said no 2nd fight maybe next year.So don't really get that part of your post because he had shot he does not need to fight ANYONE to get shot just sign contract. This fight is a sham I mean would you put Tom S in your top 15 even, stop and think about div guys like Ruiz,Rivas,Hunter none are top 10 would you rate him over them?

Arum & Warren try to control as many WBO titles as possible at all times. Clearly they're trying to get the WBO belt at heavyweight. I said six weeks ago that Fury would fight Schwarz. Nobody believed me. Look at what happened.

Fury got dropped twice in his last fight, despite winning and being robbed. The second knock-down was particularly hard.

He's entitled to a soft touch.

Hearn is just jealous Top Rank / ESPN have a HW champion in their stable that is willing to fight anyone, and is primed for a fight with an undefeated hungry lion in Shwarz.

                    War Fury!!!

I would have believed you but to be honest did not even think of Schwarz before it was announced. But knew it would be bad and yea Arum pretty much runs WBO like King used to run WBC.
