Everyone wants to protect the 0 to get abig payday not realizing that the winner of the fight you're talking about could very well become a huge PPV draw. Everyone can duck each other waiting for big $$ and wake up to late realizing they wasted their prime years waiting for a big paycheck instead or making sure they become the big paycheck everybody wants.

That's my point regarding Lomachenko vs. Davis! Loma can keep hoping to fight Tank, or hoping to fight Mikey, but the truth is, those fights are very difficult to make, co-promotions, battling networks, etc. Meanwhile, there is a star rising right in your backyard, and in your weight class! When those people show up in NYC, it's not really for Crawford! It's for Verdejo, Shakur and most definitely for Teofimo too! Teofimo is more popular in NYC than Commey! He's the new Mike Tyson! I thought Loma turning down Manny was a mistake, and I think watching Teofimo go to 140, without fighting him @ 135, is another big mistake!Everyone wants to protect the 0 to get abig payday not realizing that the winner of the fight you're talking about could very well become a huge PPV draw. If Teofimo was to beat Campbell and get the WBC LW title, I'm sure Loma wouldn't mind fighting him! But by then, it might be too late! The boy is going to 140 in 2020! Commey is going nowhere!Comment

WRONG! Aside from the Commey injury, Loma is only fighting Crolla because he's mandatory.Which is why he has been calling out Loma since Loma fought Pedraza! He wants Loma or Campbell next! He's already fighting a guy ranked higher than Pedraza, and he's only doing that because Pedraza curved him! Arum is keeping Commey for Loma, because Loma wants to unify! Loma is only fighting Crolla because Commey hurt his hand! Bob says he'll push for Lopez vs. Campbell for the vacant WBC title! Maybe if he beats Campbell, then y'all will open your eyes! Maybe Loma will fight him then?
Bob says a lot of things and doesn't act on them. Unlikely Campbell takes the fight.Comment

If Campbell refused to fight Teofimo Lopez, for the vacant WBC LW title, he would have to retire! His fans across the pond would demand that! I hope Mikey vacates, and Bob makes it happen!Comment

I could see Campbell retiring soon but not cause of Lopez. I doubt Mikey vacates. He gets special treatment like Canelo and gets to keep his beltComment

Mikey can't get down to 135 anymore! I think 140 is where it's at for him! I would LOVE to see Ivan Baranchyk vs. Mikey Garcia for the IBF JWW title! Once the WBSS is over, there are even more opponents! There's still opportunities for him @ 147 (Omar Figueroa Jr., and Danny Garcia)!Comment

I agree Mikey is fine at 140 but I'm not convinced Lopez will survive when he moves to 140 next year. It is a stacked division full of greats!Mikey can't get down to 135 anymore! He definitely has work to do, but his network will provide him cover! I think he would body Ray Beltran, Alex Saucedo, and Jose Ramirez! Top Rank is thin @ 140!Comment

A past prime Beltran of course. I dunno about Saucedo and Ramirez. Saucedo is a warrior and has a chin on him. He's shown that with Lenny Z and Hooker. As for Ramirez, he's shown a lot of improvement in his footwork and head movement since he switched to Robert Garcia. He would have Lopez missing all nightComment

I don't know about that! I've seen Ramirez getting hit a lot over his last 3 fights, and especially his last fight:A past prime Beltran of course. I dunno about Saucedo and Ramirez. Jose Ramirez defends title with majority decision vs. Jose Zepeda
February 10, 2019:
Local hero Jose Ramirez pleased a crowd of 14,034 at the Save Mart Arena in Fresno, California, by rallying the second half of the fight to retain a junior welterweight title with a close, 12-round majority decision over Jose Zepeda on Sunday.
Zepeda (30-2, 25 KOs) out-boxed Ramirez (24-0, 16 KOs) for most of the early rounds, using savvy footwork and an accurate southpaw jab to keep the titleholder off-balance and out of range.

Jose Ramirez retains title with clear decision over Antonio Orozco
September 15, 2018:
Local hero Jose Ramirez defended his junior welterweight title via unanimous 12-round decision on Friday in a sensational fight with Antonio Orozco that featured sizzling two-way action in every round...
Ramirez's jab, combination punching and body shots were the keys to his victory. Orozco battled back with left hooks to the head and body, but despite his punch output, he couldn't turn the fight in his favor.
Many of the rounds were close, as both fighters hammered away at each other with reckless abandon. But Ramirez's hand speed and slightly harder punches allowed him to edge most rounds.
Still, every time Ramirez seemed on the verge of scoring a knockout, Orozco, of Stockton, rallied back to stay in the fight...

I won't even go to the Amir Imam fight, because Ramirez's performance was so poor that Arum had to steer Prograis in a different direction, because Prograis would've destroyed Ramirez! Teofimo stops Ramirez in 8!Comment
