I hate to say it, but this era of heavyweights is pure TRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely horrendous. All 3 of these fighters have nothing but size, nothing more. I would have never imagined that the heavyweight division would be ruled by a fighter who has a very heavy right hand that repeatedly bails him out of fights he is getting outclassed in. No skills whatsoever other than a absolutely devastating right hand.

Then we have another fighter who is always a fat azz and never looks to be in fighting shape, but was able to come back after a 3 year layoff and make the fighter stated above look absolutely foolish for 99% of the fight.

Then we have another fighter who has somehow gained lots of fame without even fighting anyone and not trying to fight anyone. Absolute far cry of the bravery of his countrymen that fought before him (Lewis and Bruno.)

All 3 of them seem to be afraid of each other.

Absolutely pathetic. I am a young person (very early 30's) and remember fighters fighting anyone in the 90's.

Holyfield was fighting anyone and everyone (the fact that he was always undersized not shying away from prime fighters was even more impressive..)

I remember watching Michael Grant as a kid who was undefeated and being praised as the next great American heavyweight who matched Lennox in height and size and was hoping and praying to see him and Lennox fight and it happened!!!! Lennox didn't run from him. He beat the living hell out of him.

Even Tyson for all of his unstableness was fighting anyone and everyone including the police that stepped in after biting holyfields ear off.

We even had cannon fodder in Frank Bruno who was the pride of England not shying away from top tier fighters in Tyson and Lewis.

We even had a severely undersized Roy Jones jump all the way up to heavyweight to fight a genuine heavyweight.

But I am at a loss to the crap I'm seeing today. We have 3 oversized cowards afraid of fighting each other. All of this back and forth complaining like little girls and no action. Just pathetic.

I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that if these 3 fought in the 90's, none of them would be "champions".

    Absolute garbage.

You realize we just exited an era where morbidly obese heavyweights took economy flights over to Germany so they could waddle up to to the Klitschko brothers and beg to have their asses beat for 900k, right?

Joshua would have kicked Evander Holyfield's ass. The 90's were overrated.

90s and 70s were the best heavyweight eras. it's not fair comparing this era to those 2. you could critisize every other decade if you compare it with the best.

ALL overrated! That doesn't mean they're not good fighters or entertaining but OVERRATED AS F#CK by NEW boxing fans who root for these guys based on Countrymen Pride and everything else besides their skills in the ring

Fury is a feather fisted oaf, yes he is slick but guys like Lewis would KO him inside 6 rounds, and hes clearly the no.1 heavyweight. AJ is a big stiff robot who is very overrated, is no.2 and wilder is basically michael grant.

It is really bad, but give it 2-3 years and we will see just how good all these up and comers are.

                    Dubois
                    Ajagba
                    Hrgovic
                    Teslenko
                    Makhmudov
                    Dychko
                    Sirenko

The talent is there just not quite ready yet.
