But it was fine at that time for Thurman not to face Spence when he hadn't proven himself. But that changed the day he got the IBF belt. After that there should have been no more excuses.

They better be on the same PPV.

I definitely had Ugas winning that fight. I know Ugas could have been a little more active instead of showboating in some rounds but Porter wasn't doing anything but running. I don't like using the term "running" but that's what he did because he didn't land any significant punches. Ugas had Porter's face swollen lol

this is gonna be better than spence vs mikey for sure but it's really hard to favor porter considering spence can fight his style even better with deadlier punch....in hindsight, who the hell put mikey on their p4p list?lol

After that Ugas fight, Porter is done with marinating fights now I bet. He got a little scare there.

Good fight but not PPV worthy. Spence needed a dead time in the sports calendar, a undefeated P4P ranked Mexican opponent and a shyt ton of promotion just to draw 350K PPVs. There were more fans at Cowboy Stadium and buying that PPV to see Garcia then Spence. Porter is a much weaker draw just look at his ratings with Ugas (second worst on FOX) not to mention most people felt he lost that fight. Thurman/Porter, Thurman/Garcia, and Porter/Garcia were all NON PPV fights so it will be a tough sell making fans pay for Spence/Porter on PPV. Porter/Garcia just happened a couple months ago and drew only 619K viewers on Showtime. They should put this on FOX which could do huge numbers and build Spence up and then put him on PPV to face the winner of Pacquiao/Thurman.

Unless Spence is fighting Pacquiao, Crawford or Thurman it's going to be a tough sell on PPV.

no wonder porter got decisions vs danny and ugas

this makes that last round scoring vs ugas seem extremely shady

I don't believe porter. Last week the wbc said that porter would have to rematch Ugas. I would believe that 1st before seeing him get in the ring with Errol.
