Look at Canelo’s numbers before the GGG fight. And he was a huge star with a tremendous following. But the Smith and Khan fights were **** numbers wise. He fights GGG he cracks a million twice.

Wilder wants 50-50, which is also reasonable. He’s been a champion longer than Joshua and has a prettier record.

No one is ducking. They both are demanding monetary compensation that is based on logic. As time passes, either 60-40 will make more sense for Wilder to take, or 50-50 will make more sense for Joshua to take. That’s when the fight will get made.

Training camp =/= full fight experience. Going up against an unknown skillset whose intent is to harm you. That feeling of danger isn't felt in camp the same way. Thus why Thurman was getting bombed on for a round after his layoff

They both want it just only on their terms. This always happens in boxing especially when it’s the biggest fights. Wilders team believes Joshua has plateaued in the UK while his profile continues to grow. And sooner or later Joshua will run out of quality opponents and will be forced to except their terms. Decent strategy I guess. Can’t say it’s never been done before. It worked for Floyd but Floyd was the best fighter in his division by far. Wilder could get clipped in his next fight.
