Those wicked body shots that Peterson was landing through the first half of the fight was making me think that Lipinets was going to get stopped. Lipinets had to take a lot of punishment to get that win. Both guys gave us a really fun fight.

Once again Barry Hunter not giving good instructions to a boxer who’s older and doesn’t have the punching power to get respect!

Should’ve told Lamont to triple the jab and move and whenever Lipinets circles with him just land a right hand and move out!

If Lipinets gets inside just smother his work or clinch him, never understood why guys who don’t have that good of punching power to not study a Calazaghe or a Klitschko!

Lamont had too much reach and experience to lose by TKO to a career Jr welterweight! Smh

The corner either failed him or he wasn’t listening or maybe he doesn’t have the legs to box on the outside anymore!

Shouldn’t have took that Spence fight and this is why Pacquiao won’t take it!

Hunter was in that mindset already , just wanted his fighter out of their

Terrific fight, that was a phone booth war for the much of the fight. Peterson was edging the early rounds, but Lipinets was doing more damage with his shots.

Respect to Peterson who brought it every single time out. Wasn't the best fighter or anything, but gave a lot of fun fights. Enjoy your retirement sir, you have come a long way from being a homeless kid struggling to get by. Now he's turned into a role model for the youth in his community and hopefully made some good money in his career. Wouldn't be surprised if he starts training young amateurs or gets involved in some capacity.

Why would you bet 1000 bucks on Lamont Peterson, it's nonsense

Lipinets took some heavy shots to the body , I thought he would gone to the body more than Peterson
Liked Lipinets in this fight but would of not thought a stoppage victory
