Would Wilder give AJ 50/50 if the roles were reversed?

Do you believe Wilder, Finkel and Don Haymon would give AJ 50/50 if the roles were reversed?

Say AJ had fought bums most of his life in Watford vs low opposition for the WBC title and Wilder had unified multiple times on PPV in the cowboys stadium or MSG?

Do you think Wilder would give 50/50?

Or would you think AJ would be a complete nutcase to demand it and think he's pricing himself out because he doesn't really want the work?

Good God. Can we just move all the same BS Heavyweight threads to another forum? They arent fighting now, or probably next, we all need to get over it because the blame is on everyone to include the fighters, promoters and networks.

Team Wilder are off there rocker's but at the same time, they've brought Hearn to $40 million and/or 60-40 so its kind of working because that is a crazy offer and a crazy split to be offering this guy under the circumstances. I think AJ is going to have to sacrifice in these negotiations from the looks of it, collect all the belts and then he can do a Floyd and give people career pay days, but keep the lionshare for himself.

You think Floyd was making anywhere between 50-100 million a fight and paying guys like Mosley, Marquez, etc. (bonafide stars) less than $10 million and they were happy to take it.

Hearn doesn't seem the most clever negotiator tbh, he shows his cards by showing what an effort he is putting forward to make the fight, for public perception its good, but for the actual negotiations its naive in my opinion.

Wilder asking for 50-50 is just a way to price himself out of the fight. Even Pacquiao didn't get 50-50 against Floyd and he was a giant PPV star in his own right.

Being a star in America is different from being a star in the uk hence why AJ is fighting here

no question about it. but being a mega star in the UK is better than being a run of the mill boxer in the U.S.

No fighter or promoter/manager would ever accept 50/50 when they are the bigger star and bring 3 belts to the table. That is the reality.

It wasn't Hearn who offered 40mil though, we have to remember that. It was DAZN.

but it's obvious Joshua will have to sacrifice in negotiations. He already has when you consider Wilder made a 2.1mil guarantee just 1 year ago and Joshua made 20mil guarantee in his last fight.
