its a shame u british boxing fans can only talk about 3 or 4 boxers..and 2 of them are retired..bums
Khan just beat Kindelan, Hatton just beat Tszyu, Calzaghe just won every minute of every round against Lacy, and the whole of Britain is probably smaller than one State in the US. Scott Harrison is a world champion, Clinton Woods is a world champion, Carl Froch and David Haye are WBC #1 contenders, Enzo Calzaghe is a WBO #1 contender, Howard Eastman is a top-ranked middleweight, Kevin Mitchell is a potential future world champion. Give us SOME credit?
In the 1990's we had Benn, Eubank, Lennox, Naz - all legends. And we had Bruno, too.
Eubank I think must of been on the white stuff or something when he fought that South American southpaw in Liverpool, he just posed and strutted and posed and strutted, turned his nose up at ringsiders and gave it the full load, he was constantly tapping one glove on top the other between rounds without sitting down, face often motionless, it was crazy stuff. Just so over the top, I don't know what was wrong with him.
Every black guy looks like jack_the_rippuh.
I'm being framed! You have to believe me!
Drz, If that was me, why would I take a pic like that and not send it to you first and get your permission to post it?
No, he's lying if he says that because he was due to fight Mark Prince for the WBO Intercontinental light-heavy belt on the Hamed/Collins-Calzaghe undercard. He did though have a fractured kneecap or some **** and couldn't spar much or do any roadwork at all, he'd hired Dennis Andries as a sparring partner and cornerman but Dennis' style was nothing like Calzaghe. After the Calzaghe fight, Eubank couldn't walk for days because his knee was ****ed. That is the main thing that was holding him back, his knee, he was scrappy that night.
