I feel like it's more Pacquiao's team and people close to him saying how taking essentially the biggest physical risk of his career isn't worth it when you can choose anyone on the PBC roster. He seemed genuinely interested in fighting Spence post fight and made some interesting parallels about Spence's form being a lot like Ledwaba.

I'm just really disappointed because I really wanted to see Pac fight another south paw. Pac's volume is amazing considering he's facing orthodox punchers all the time. When it's against a fellow south paw he opens up like a mf

Pac was never going to fight Spence. He will listen to Freddie and his camp before listening to Al Haymon. He matches up far better with Thurman and Porter.

By these people’s logic, Pac should only be fighting Spence otherwise he should just drop his ‘regular’ title which nobody really cares about if anybody not named Pac is holding it.

If Pac fights Thurman, he should drop his ‘regular’ belt
