    Danny Williams (latest update)

Danny Williams has been made the mandatory challenger for new British heavyweight champion Scott Gammer.
Domestic rival Matt Skelton handed Brixton's Williams a unanimous points defeat in their Commonwealth title rematch in Cardiff last weekend.

But Williams, 32, a former world title challenger and British champion, has the chance to bounce straight back.

The British Boxing Board of Control instructed Welshman Gammer, 29, to make his first defence against Williams.

Gammer, from Pembroke Dock, became the seventh Welshmen to be crowned British heavyweight champion thanks to a ninth-round stoppage of Mark Krence in June

Well Skelton will want bigger and better things, like Valuev's belt, so this is not such a bad fight for Williams to try and bounce back.

I've never seen Scott Gammer fight, his last bout they couldn't even get coverage for it.

A prime Danny would Humdilla him out of there (presumably) so I'm just hoping he doesn't come in with a mind **** and weighing 310lbs.
