he was stunned shelled up against the ropes and hurt several times, he looked confused as well. It was horribly unimpressive no matter how you look at it. Looked like he couldn't box

then used his size advantage. A slightly heavier puncher would have had him out of there

He follows the same rules to make 154 lbs that other fighters follow. How is he a "bully?" Maybe he has a natural gift for being able to cut a large amount of weight and put it back on. Or maybe his nutrition or training help him do this.

I must have watched a different fight. I admit that I am a fan of Hurd and he didn't look sharp but I don't think he was in any trouble whatsoever against Welborn. Hurd stated he was trying some different things after the fight, whatever he was trying didn't work and he decided to get serious and stopped his opponent when he put the actual effort in.

Hurd is a big guy but he makes the weight limit and uses his advantages against his opponent. He throws in volume and physically breaks down opponents. He's stopped Galarza, Molina, Harrison and beat Lara. Earlier in his career he boxed more.

I think J-Rock poses some challenges and Hurd shouldn't be overlooking him. I don't think he is overrated however.

His defense is questionable. Other than that, you're reaching on this one.

He was never in trouble or "almost stopped" against welborn. He was trying to box like he used to. welborn knew going into the fight Hurd wouldn't use his usual style so he took advantage of it right up to the point Hurd got serious and KO'd him with a body shot. Maybe Hurds no longer able to switch styles effectively.

I think people (like yourself) misuse the term weight bully IMO. If he can make the weight than he can make the weight-Simple as that. A true weight bully makes guys jump up multiple weight classes or imposes rehydration clauses/limits.
