Better get Spence vs Porter then. I mean I get it....But don't agree with Haymon giving Thurman the Pacquiao fight next. Maybe he sees it as a longer-term play where Spence can just get the winner in even a bigger fight but nothing is going to help him more than fighting Pacquiao at Cowboys stadium.

Yup. They are convincing themselves still that Pacquiao is not the best of this era. That their man "convincingly" beat Pacquiao when many saw it the other way around. Specially when the highlights of their fight show Pacquiao the one connecting with the significant blows and their man covering up or excessively holding.

if spence fights pacquiao instead of thurman doesnt he get stripped for not fighting the super champion?

imo the most logical thing to do is to have Thurman vs Pacquiao for the WBA unified welterweight strap and then have that winner fight the winner of spence vs porter for the IBF/WBC titles.

This scenario makes the most sense to me. Would the IBF really strip Spence for fighting Manny instead of Thurman? That's just crazy.

Don't say you want to fight someone when you have no intention of doing so. All the pacscrubs were all over the forum claiming Pacquiao was going to fight Spence. When i said it was unlikely they attacked me. Yet again i was right.

Personally I doubted from day 1. He saw the fight upclose he probably knows at this stage it would ve a very hard task.

Still, fighting Thurman or Garcia at this stage is a pretty good fight... Let's criticize the prime fighters with sh##tty records for not fighting each other instead of criticizing an old legend for taking a very hard fight, even though he didnt take the hardest one....

Didnt see it... Manny was being Manny as usual.. hes not the confrontational type to go on the ring and challenge someone. I know.you were sad cause you didn't get the typical WWE scenario where Manny needs to be held but no... doubt he was scared to be in the ring with Spence...
