An interesting choice for sure. But the disrespect on this board is ridiculous. This young guy could make history (probably won't, but). He could also go on to be a top 5 guy and never lose another match (again, probably not). The point is you guys don't know what the future holds.
Every fight is never going to be the Thrilla in Manilla. Also, you aren't going to know beforehand which fights turn out to be great, or historic. Sometimes we know they will, but many other times we, like everyone else get surprised. For that and many other reasons, fight fans should always show some respect to the people getting in the ring and laying it all out there. Also, give the fights a chance before being so judgemental. Or like AJ said, get out there and fight yourself!
The Top 3 or 5 can't only fight each other. There are always going to be other fights mixed in there. Many will turn out to be interesting and lend signs of the depth and skill level of the sport to come in the next few years. Real fans should be able to appreciate them all. Every fight doesn't bolster the resume at first glance, but it may mean a lot later .... for either one of the fighters. Or it may mean nothing.
Fury took hard shots and terrible falls fighting Wilder. Theoretically, he could get the same or worse here, but it's ok if that is not EXPECTED from every fight. Some of y'all need to get in a gym and box. Your respect and tolerance for ALL of these warriors will be much higher.
