I have to go with Hurd on this one. I would pick J Rock for the upset but I keep remembering the way he got KO'd by Charlo. So for that reason and the fact Hurd always seems to turn his fights into a brawl, I see him winning. I don't think Williams chin will hold up from the pressure.

I ****s with J Rock but Hurd is putting him to sleep. I don’t know why J Rock’s team thinks this is a good idea lol. Hurd will just keep on coming and it’s not like J Rock will be moving like Lara to last 12 rounds. He’s going to get clipped and KO’d

Julian Williams "J Rock" got KO by Charlo. Hurd is Charlo x 2

With fighters like Hurd, what you see is what you get and he is susceptible of getting outboxed by anybody. As long as his opponents can take as much as they can dish out, Hurd is beatable.

If Jrock can overcome some rocky moments and stay composed, he can win. I think he will do just that.

He has one of the most knowledagble guy as his trainer and I know they are going to come up with the necessary plan.. williams is good enough to execute but he is going to have to absorb some shots.

Agree this might be best fight and most competitive one on FOX yet.I think J Rock will do better then a lot think his loss to Charlo was nothing to be ashamed of.And I don't think Hurd quite hits like Mall will still prob pick Hurd but would not be surprised if he has to come from behind good for him that he has engine to do it.Unless he finally hits wall making 54.Anyways its a lot better then all other FOX fights so far with possible exception of Porter v Ugas which most before fight were writing off underrated Ugas.

Nice points and I agree too many people are writing off J Rock just because he got caught by a great shot from Charlo who imo hits harder then Hurd.A guy losses to another top fighter that was competitive until catch and counter uppercut.I had 2-2 after four with Mall getting extra point for flash KD.I would still pick Hurd but he very well might have to come from behind to win.Good thing for him is that he has engine to do it.And agree that Hurd is too easy to hit and if like you said his opponent can take some rough moments he can be outboxed.

I think Williams will be a tough out for Hurd. Williams can box. Hurd can't keep falling behind in every fight. One of these fights it will catch up with him. Especially if he's way behind and his opponent know how to control the pace.

With that being said, I'm a huge supporter of Hurd and will root for him in every fight. I think he will pull it off but it might come down to a last second KD or stoppage.

                      Re

I can see J-Rock out boxing Hurd and NOT getting the decision . Its basically Hurd's backyard.

I can also see J-Rock leading on the cards late, before getting caught and TKO'd.
