Yeah, that’s true. Only issue though is that a lot of months there’s mainly low level quality fights. A lot of people just want to watch the big fights so now they’ll have to pay more.

For folks who actually spend money to support the sport, DAZN is still a good value. I understand how the less fortunate wouldn't like the price increase

I’m convinced most people on here don’t pay for any boxing.
If they did they’d see the benefit of having Canelo, GGG, and Joshua all on one app, for about 10 bucks a month. (100 bucks a year)
Those 3 fighters alone would cost you way more than 100 bucks a year to see individually on hbo or showtime ppv’s. Add to that, it’s a growing sports app and they plan to add more content.

I actually wish PBC would do something similar. Do a fox sports+ for 5 bucks a month and they too could do away with ppv and we can do away with showtime.

This deal definitely sucks for those that only like to subscribe certain months, but LIS for those that will keep their yearly subscription? This deal is better.
Buy ten months at 9.99 a piece and get two months free!.. yea, its ok, but just a plan to sucker more money out of fans.. if AJ loses, Dazn will be all about Canelo! Lol.

It is hilarious to watch some of you guys try to spin this price hike as a great thing for the fans. Many are going to have to pay DOUBLE for the SAME amount of content that they promised was $9.99. They are trying to strongarm everyone to pay UPFRONT for fights that we may want to see in the future. I am sorry (not really), but please excuse my reluctance to pay double what I didn't think was worth half of in the first place.
Here is a novel idea.... Get the Fighters and Fights that the U.S. wants to see and then and ONLY then will you get my my and others CC #'s.

To be fair only Canelo v Jacobs would've been on HBO PPV and remember GGG v Jacobs was a flop on HBO PPV

DAZN needs more content to justify paying more than ESPN showtime and HBO

The fact GGG vs Jacobs was a flop is irrelevant. They still put it on ppv and I still paid for it.

Personally I like what dazn is doing with Andrade and slowly getting him in the mix. I could see GGg, Jacobs, nelo and Andrade all fighting each other soon. To me all fights worth watching.

I do agree they need more content and from what they’ve said they’re planning on adding more content. I also understand it’s a new app in the US. It’s in its early stages, I’m sure it will add more in the future or fold as an app.

If that’s the case no big deal, I’m sure the fighters will move to pbc or ESPN plus.

$100 for a year is an absolute steal.

Two canelo fights used to be $150 for may and September. Now it's cheaper and you also get Jacobs, Aj, andrade, ggg, farmer, uysk, wbss. The list goes on. I'll also be keeping my showtime app for a little while longer.

Fox is free over the air and I'm set. I don't have cable so i don't get any top rank fights and i refuse to pay for espn+. Bob arum only likes to put on garbage fights anyways. Any decent fight is an automatic ppv. Boo top rank.

They haven't put on a single must watch fight in my eyes. Canelo-Jacobs, another Canelo-Golovkin retread??? MEH.

MUST watch, game-changing fights that would get me to subscribe would be Spence-Crawford, Spence-Canelo, Mikey-Lomo, Tank-Lomo, Wilder-Joshua. Sadly, these ain't happening thanks to boxing politics. Not paying twenty bucks a month for Rios-Soto.
