Comments Thread For: Malignaggi Fears Khan Will Take Vicious Beating From Crawford

AMIR KHAN could take a beating against Terence Crawford in New York next month, according to Paulie Malignaggi. Khan is daring to be great by taking on one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in world boxing at Madison Square Garden on April 20. Many regard Crawford, the undefeated WBO welterweight chief who has also claimed world titles at lightweight and super lightweight, as the No.1 fighter on the planet and expect him to get the job done in style.

I can see Khan being competitive for the first half of the fight, after that it is all Crawford. The KO can happen at any time.

He's probably right, but I don't think you need to be Malignaggi to realise that.

And he is right about this one as well. It will be Canelo experience all over again.

Best days for Khan are gone, and Crawford is in his prime and never took any punishment, although they are almost the same age.

So "daring to be great" is to actually fight someone in the top 3 of their weight class these days? Back in the days, it was just what boxers did.

This fight shouldn’t be PPV! We all know Crawford will KO glass chin!

Beatings (of the career-ending style) usually happen when someone has a chin of iron and their corner fails to step in and save their guy.

Khan doesn't have a chin of iron......
