How do you see 147 playing out?

Obviously this is one of the hottest divisions in boxing and has a clear dream fight which is the current top two Crawford vs. Spence. I think those two are unquestionably the best two now especially p4p where Crawford is the best in the division however that fight seems as far away as any fight in the division. I think BOTH fighters want it though but obviously the politics will at best prolong it or at worst prevent it.

Spence likely has a two year window (probably 3-4 fights) before he outgrows the division and Crawford has said he feels this is his last division.

How do we see this division unfolding these next couple of years? I think Thurman will be the one that gets the Pacquaio payday and then prioritize a Porter fight which leaves Danny Garcia as an option for Spence or Crawford (if Top Rank comes back and offers him a fight again). Maidana will probably be the one that's fed to Spence.

There's also the winner of the WBSS (Prograis or Taylor most likely) who are big dudes at that weight and will obviously factor and Ramirez, another huge 140 guy. I think those will be Crawford's easiest big fight options.

I personally feel we won't be getting any fights between Crawford-Spence-Thurman but hope I am wrong. It just doesn't appear Thurman wants those fights and Crawford-Spence will just be too difficult to make with too many ego's at stake which sucks because I genuinely believe both guys would accept it next.

I think we'll stick get good action and matches but just not quit the one's we want.

We'll get to see crawford and spence fighting bums next couple years then spence will end up at 154 after struggling to make weight at 147 any more. Them two will never fight, noone even seems fussed about seeing it on here either, people seem more passionate about why it cant be made then why it should

Wish we could see Spence - Pacquaio next, but have a feeling Spence will fight Porter next who tried to box , but he is limited. He is strong but Spence, by late rounds stoppage. I think Pacquaio will fight Thurmon. Pac is older ,but i think he wants it more in a dog fight with Thurmon. Crawford will dissect Khan then hopefully he will fight Garcia after he fights a tough fight with Granados. Maybe we can see Spence-Porter winner fight Pac Thurmon winner. Then Crawford can beat those guys and whoever else.

Think Crawford wins the title at 147. I think he is the most well rounded.

I think a lot of us want to see the fight but understand the politics will hold it up. You are right though, there is a small section of "fans" that don't want to see it and didn't want to see Wilder fight Joshua either and are happy he ducked the huge offer. They demand the world from other guys though that's true.

147 SHOULD be the most interesting division.

But in fact it's the least interesting division because the best fighters won't fight each other.

              This nails it exactly.

I consider Spence v. Crawford one of the most interesting fights that could be made in boxing, and everyone seems cool with saying it can't be done.

I hope we get Pac vs Thurman and Porter vs Spence next, then the winners fight. That's ideal. Obviously, that leaves Danny Garcia out of the mix, but his inactivity hurts him here.

You guys are really over exaggerating this. I have seen no group of fans suggest they don't want to see this fight.

Fans are not continually posting about it because they can read what Arum has said and can see how ESPN is operating. The fight will have to be a PPV and Arum has said he will not do a PPV if it isn't a big fight.

What is gained by continually posting about it? The thing to do would be to hold Arum accountable, which you guys nor anyone is going to do.

you guys have any plausible solution to getting the fight made? you guys gonna hold arum and ESPN accountable and not support Crawford fights until he changes his stance?

As for the division-the sales of Spence/Garcia suggest the next fight will be Spence/Manny on PPV or Spence/Porter on Fox. Eventually Thurman before he moves up. I think Crawford ends up fighting the JWW moving up, maybe Ramirez and Prograis.

First of all arum has since said he would make the fight. Second of all crawford just recently re-signed with him and surelt they must have discussed spence, if he re-signed knewing that fight couldnt happen then its just as much his fault. Theres no evidence that arum and haymon have said they wont do this fight, fact is.neither fighter seems bothered at all about fighting the other because they are getting a free pass to fight bums by people like you.
