Mikey should go after Pacquiao. Their size difference is not much.

Pacman is also a lightweight fighting welterweights. At 40 he should retire or go down to140 before he gets hurt by Spence?

Mikey can compete with the rest of the welters. No problem at all. Don't go to 140 unless there's a compelling fight. You can beat any welter on a good day, except Spence. Keep your game up. Fight Ugas.

I have my doubts about that. WW is an incredibly competitive weight class. I think Mikey would have major problems with any of the title holders. I totally disagree about going to 140. Mikey would feel more comfortable there being closer to his natural weight, with more speed and power. That really is his best option right now.

Yeah, Porter has an iron chin and would maul him to a decision win. I just dont see him beating Garcia either. Thurman's right hand would catch him time and again. Pac's angles would be too much for him I believe. And Crawford would keep him at the end of a jab. Like you said, 140 is deep. He is sort of in a no mans land for himself at 140/147. I doubt he gets back down to 135 without being drained to some extent and Davis and Lom are serious threats. Maybe some vacant belt somewhere but that would be anticlimactic to his career.

Interesting statistic. Robert Easter is 5'11 with a 76 inch reach and Spence is 5'9 1/2 with a 72 inch reach. One guy gives up his height and the other guy uses it to perfection. I've always thought that Spence gauges distance really well. He also has great balance.

Why not just go the Canelo route and beat a "regular" world title holder and claim "champion in x divisions"?
