Mikey, that’s what happens when you think you’re better than you’re actually are. Get your head checked, not just for concussions. Lomo will tool you now at 135.

Mikey has no business at 147, any welterweight worth their salt will easily beat him.
140 is his best route right now and even there I think he potentially loses to somebody like Prograis.Comment

You are one deluded dude.If Mikey made it competitive maybe he should be applauded but he got his ass completely handed to him. He got out muscled and out boxed.
Let someone drink a bottle of bleach and praise them for being courageous. Theres a fine line between being courageous and being dumb. Anyone with a brain knew the likely outcome.
Who knows? People have survived suicide by bleach, maybe you can too????
Mikey was dumb for making it sound like he needed to take a challenge he didnt need to and got completely dominated.
There was nothing courageous about it.
Losing 12-0 and looking completely out of place? Being humiliated on a PPV that features you as the main event?
Quit lying dude.
Spencer started his career at WW 147 and, in his own words, expects to finish his career at 160 or even 168. In other words he's got a massive frame for 147 - and he does. On the other hand Mikey started his career at 126 and last fought at LW 135. Mikey was/is an average sized LIGHTWEIGHT, a smallish JUNIOR LIGHTWEIGHT (undersized against Lipinets AND Broner), and a criminally small Welterweight...so much so that he never should've fought at FULL WW...catchweight could be possible, but he'd still be small.
This isn't a "Mikey" thing. Humans just don't experience growth spurts at 31 years old. No amount of training or even PED's can add 14 pounds of muscle mass while retaining or improving stamina, power, and speed as well as punch resistance when you're 31 years old...it simply doesn't work that way.
If you need proof - and you seem dense enough - watch Khan's fight versus Canelo, Brook's versus Gennadyovich ******, or Mikey's versus Errald. I can give you a bunch more, but those are most recent examples when a guy jumps up 2 weight classes and fails miserably (and understandably). Khan had zero punch resistance although he did come to win even if he was losing each round successively worse than the prior. Brook came to win and would've held his own with Gennadyovich ****** had they been the same size with the same frame. And Mikey came to win - much to the surprise of some doughnut "fans" on this board - but he quickly learned Spencer's jab and range were too much for him...he couldn't get inside without leaving himself wide open and even when he did get inside his power had little to no effect as Spencer was backing up (with the punches) or they were only landing glancingly.
Regardless of all this...Spencer did NOT OUTBOX Mikey Garcia. Spencer spent the entire night jabbing his way in (using his longer range) and using his height and larger body frame to keep out of counter-punching range. On the rare occasion where Mikey did land it was more of a glancing blow as Mikey was leaning in and off balance (and power starts from the ground up)...and Errald was backing up (offsetting the power). Errald's physical advantages made the fight look like a boxing performance...it was just a big guy beating up a little guy. Nothing more. nothing less.
Why was it nothing more? Because Errald couldn't legitimately hurt/injure a natural LIGHTWEIGHT. Mikey was buzzed a few times, maybe a handful of times in the fight, but there was never a serious concern of TKO/RTD, or anything like that. Robert Garcia thought about stopping the fight only because it was pointless - Mikey had little no shot and Spencer ramped up his attack. The thing was...not much was landing. And for you Errald doughnuts out there (like yourself) I'd be concerned about Spencer's offensive limitations. He seemed unable to land anything consistently other than a jab. That's going to be problemsome when he's fighting someone with equal reach, equal height, and an equal or greater body frame.
As far as Mikey's performance? THAT is BOXING. Mikey defended against a longer, taller, and larger opponent for 12 rounds without ever being in serious trouble despite the fact Errald was even pressing for the stoppage. That is boxing.
It's clear as day to the unbiased fan the "clinic" last Saturday was more of a sparring match where the much bigger boxer was beating up the smaller boxer mostly because of significant size differences (range, height, frame, etc.). The one factor Mikey had in his control and failed to improve was speed. Mikey chose to come in heavier for the fight (power and punch resistance) and sacrificed the only advantage he could've had...which Manny Pacquiao immediately corrected in the postfight...should've been SPEED. That is why Brook and Mikey failed. Khan was faster than Canelo, but Khan can't box and is probably even denser than you doughnut heads.
Please learn the difference between "boxing" and a big man beating up a small man. It's really not complicated and I can give you more examples because doughnuts are pretty damn thiccComment

ALL guys have limits. Those you think don't simply didn't stretch themselves far enough.
Andre Ward challenged Floyd at 160 back in ~2012. That would've been an L for Floyd because the size disparity would've been M A S S I V E
Pacman had to fight Margarito - the weakest 154 champ - to 150 and probably would've lost to any real 154lb champ at that time...especially if it happened AT 154.
Everyone has limits. The only single fighter that can claim he doesn't was Muhammad Ali because he fought everyoneComment

I was basically sending my comment telepathically to Mikey. His confidence will not show up at ww.ALL guys have limits. Those you think don't simply didn't stretch themselves far enough.

Man. Lmao. You say that I'm dense and literally you repeat everything I already know. You are one deluded dude.

All you're doing is making excuses for Mikey which is quite pathetic.
Oh, mikey started out smaller. Oh Spence is naturally bigger. Blah blah blah.
Who didnt know this? And let me ask you guy. Why would someone who is "smaller" and started would be so dumb to move up and fight a guy who is way "bigger" and could potentially max out at 168?
Why would he do that? Hmmmm?
So he could make excuses when he lost? And if he "SOMEHOW" won would catapult him into ATG status? Huge PPV star?
And if he lost he could make the same EXCUSES you're making.
People were hyping this like Duran vs SRL.
Where you actually saw a smaller guy move up and outbox/beat up a bigger guy. Mikey got completely dominated by the bigger man.
Oh. Spence didnt outbox Mikey. Oh? Mikey couldnt get past his jab all night right? He BARELY hit Spence and tagged him with nothing significant.
You're say oh, the bigger man will win because of his physical advantages blah blah blah. No big man can outbox a small guy then HUH? What the hell kind if **** are you watching dude? All men and women of all sizes step into that ring with different proportions and someone always outboxed the other.
Robert Easter Jr is like 5'11 and has a 76 inch reach. Hes taller and longer than Spence.
Mikey outboxed and beat Easter up. Yet he couldnt do the same to Spence HUH? YOU GONNA COMPLAIN about weight again?
The WEIGHT Mikey asked for and the challenge he asked for?
Take the L dude.Comment
