At the time, I wanted Mosley to beat him but even then I thought the punch was over-hyped. I mean, it did almost knock him down (not out). But, people act like it was a career changing punch when it was just 1 good punch in an otherwise lopsided fight.

Think about this; how good must Floyd be if receiving one clean punch is so memorable that people still bring it up 10 years later. Most of the top guys now have been hit clean like that many times. Some even went down. But people remember Floyd catching just one punch like that because it was so rare.

That punch showed the fight in Mayweather. He was hurt but went straight after Mosley, pressured and dominated the rest of the round and fight.
