Comments Thread For: Wilder: I'm With Same People That Got Floyd Where He Went

NEW YORK Floyd Mayweather's map to superstardom and unprecedented wealth for a professional athlete was all Deontay Wilder needed. Wilder didn't predict Tuesday that he'll eclipse Mayweather's earnings. The WBC heavyweight champion's point was that his adviser, Al Haymon, and Showtime's Stephen Espinoza have a track record of building a superstar among American boxing fans.

Wilder's people are feeding him a bunch of bull****. He's almost 34 years old. He's not a Floyd Mayweather type star and he's not going to become a Floyd Mayweather type star. There's a reason why this Breazeale fight is on regular Showtime and not PPV. Wilder is a complete clown and a ducker, who will hold that WBC belt hostage as long as possible to avoid Anthony Joshua.

Right on Deontay right on. Stick with your people son, your tribe, your volk, your clan. They are going to look out for you better than anyone else and build wealth not only for you but for others who come from your people. I respect that. Same that we ***s do, same as the Irish, the Greeks, the Koreans, the Italians, the mexicans, etc etc. I love seeing black unity....it scares the hell out of the people who hate you.
