Pacquiao sold his soul to Haymon the day he had his tax bill paid off by him. He won't have a choice but to face whoever Haymon wants him to face....But I think we may get Pacman vs Thurman next...Which I don't agree with as Thurman shouldn't deserve that payday over Spence but we will get Spence vs Porter in a unification bout which is fine. Then winners can face off end of the year or early 2020.

He maid more money per fight than anyone no matter who he fought and he fought many champions and is considered great. If he had a couple of easier title defense why would he need and excuse just for you? Just about every champion has easy title defenses sometimes. Look at some of the poor title defenses Cotto, Zurdo, Lara, Wilder and others had. Mayweather does not have to fight the number 1 contender every fight. Nobody else does.
