I'm sure they saw many flaws, errors, and habits as every fighter has them. However, they were not able to formulate the proper game plan and/or Mikey wasn't good enough nor had the size to exploit the flaws they saw.

Also, I think Spence complicated it even more by fighting a completely different style than expected.

I think they genuinely thought Mikey can “Outbox” Spence, wasn’t it amazing to see that Errol actually used Mikey gameplan on Mikey?

Abel Sanchez even mentioned that Eduardo Garcia (Mikey’s dad) told him that he saw something. I’m dying to know why they thought they even had a chance...

They ****** and ****y family. Mikey is slow and robotic and doesn't have the brain speed to let hands fly at the right time against a top guy. Was always there to see but ppl lapped up the "Mikey is a text book fighter" scheme they were sold. Truth be told he a basic solid boxer who can't get inside on longer guys, won't go to body if he don't have physical advantages and plods along throwing average speed hands lol. Probably beats alot of guys out there at 135-140 but that's really just the way the pool of talent is these days...
