Tim Bradley: Mikey Garcia's career could be done.

Bradley said that Mikey is older now than his brother Robert was when he retired. He also said that Mikey can't go back down to 135 to fight Loma, and there's no other big paydays out there for him.

If he can’t go back to 135 then he’s kinda ****ed. Top guys at 147 all eat his food, and top guys at 140 likely do also (Regis will walk him down)

Hope he can go back to 135 and have elite fights instead of looking like he did Saturday

Bradley might be right. Mikey might call it a day depending on his paycheck he got. Saturdays fight was a hard 12 rounds on him. He really cannot go back to fighting lesser guys anymore. 140 has some real fighters and Loma is at 135. He can no longer pick and choose.

He will cherry pick the rest of his career. Don't expect him to fight Prograis, Taylor, Hooker, or Baranchek. If he wasn't with Top Rank Garcia would be targeting Ramirez because he is basic with little power or talent just like he targeted Lipinets for the same reason.

I just realized that Mikey is in a tough spot. I don't think he can compete with the best at 147 and if he goes back down, there are sharks at 135-140 he will have to deal with. Taylor, Prograis, Loma, Lopez, and Tank possibly. Yikes!

Not sure about him going to 135.. he is getting older and will have to work much harder to make that weight and he doesnt strike me as the type that’ll make that sacrafice. Not after making all this money.

            He should do 140...

140 can work for a bit, cherry pick a few “names” while the sharks are still in the WBSS.

Yep. I've been saying this since before this fight happened. When you bulk like that you'll never be the same again at lower weights. Be cashed out. Hope it was worth it. He was my favorite active fighter but it's hard to respect him after the bullshyt Spence fight.

I forgot about the WBSS. He's going to have to be very strategic with opponent choices going forward and even then, he'll still be lucky to navigate 140 without a loss.

Doesn’t look like he put on much lean muscle though. You could hear a pin drop at the weigh in when he took off his shirt.
