What are talking about, fool? Prove what?
I said that being from the ****** is not a lofty aspiration.
It used to be a place to pull yourself out of, now it's
become glorified and celebrated, mostly by people who
never actually lived there. You need proof that a ******
is not a good place to live or raise a family?
Go listen to whatever rapper you think you identify with
and leave the boxing talk to mature people.

Childish talks. Really missing Fury's trash talking. If the streets has any import in boxing Nigerians will be HW Champs forever... Gone forever are those days when boxing was about street credibility

AJ should let Rosie O'Miller wear her fatass out trying to move with him in the ring and then sleep him.

LoL, struck a lil nerve, eh? You didn't quite say "it" in such a noble way the 1st time, but I agree. No matter where you come from, it's not an instant pedigree one way or the other. As far as celebrated, lots of people from "******s" love their neighborhood and the people in them. No one likes crime and the negative stuff. Lots of us have lived in them and it wasn't a problem. ******s CAN build a lot of character, steadfastness, toughness, loyalty, etc.

I think you miss that those things are what most refer to when referring to coming from the hood. You get tough, and are not easy to break. I believe that's what Miller meant.

PS- I'm a jazz guy, but some rap is ok. Prejudging what someone may listen to bc you don't like a comment is still being prejudiced. That's what it means: prejudging with little or no real evidence. If I were to do that I could really have some fun with Lemonhead ...

I was not prejudging you. I was making assumptions.
I jumped to a conclusion. Much like when people jump to
the conclusion that being from an impoverished
neighborhood automatically makes a person 'tougher' than
a person who may have been fortunate enough to grow up
in a wealthier environment. I don't disagree that hardships
can teach people valuable lessens and strengthen a man's
character, but it can also do the opposite. I just think
human beings are the same all over, despite their social
status. Some of us are born predisposed to being bigger
or physically stronger than others, and some maybe more
predisposed to mental or emotional toughness.

I apologize if you took offense to my previous reply.
I just don't appreciate the glamorization of 'the ******'.
I like a lot of styles of music myself, especially old blues
and R&B..soul..classic rock..and even hip hop.
But in those old classic songs, stories about the ******
                  were the blues.

Franckly, I don't find AJ all that entertaining, in OR out of the ring. At least BB makes me laugh.
