I never considered Mikey top 5 pound 4 pound in the first place. I'm less concerned with the belts than I am with you fighting the best your division offers which usually involves the belts. Lets look at Mikey's career: Didn't fight the best at 130 Gamboa. Didn't fight Linares who I don't think much of at 135. Didn't fight Crawford at 140. He has never beat the best fighter in any division he has ever campaigned so why should I rate him so high. Garcia is a product of Top Ranks promoting and matchmaking until they wanted him to face an elite fighter and he sat out for two years. He has been cherry picking since he came off the two year hiatus.

Firstly, *** Gamboa, he was juicing and exposed. Secondly Lipinets maybe tougher than anyone on that list besides Crawford. Mikey embarrassed himself. A lack of game plan perhaps or failure to adjust. But he should have given it more effort or had his corner called the fight..
