Point 1. Wilder is saying it's laughable TODAY that people called him a fool for turning down the 12.5M flat fee when he is being offered 3 times that for the same fight less than a year later.

Point 2. These offers as high as they are because he is a network free agent. So yes, he should love being a free agent in this moment.

Opinion 1: Yes its a complicated decision. Why, because the decision must reflect what's going to happen with 3 future opponents. Breazeale (mando), Joshua (unification), Fury (rematch to prove he can/did beat him).

Opinion 2: If Wilder turns down DAZN without a Showtime/Fox guarantee then I will smh. I hold that opinion even though I have ZERO clue who Wilder could fight for if Joshua either can't fight in 2019 or doesn't agree to a DAZN deal for a 2019 fight against Wilder.

“Doggonit Deontay will you just do what you are told and let Hearn be in control of you!! You’re hurting my feelings! We want dazn to be in control in the USA because it’s british and Hearn is a big part! We don’t get dazn in England but we want it to be in control in the USA because it gives us pride! It makes us think we can be somebody to be important to Americans! If you would just leave PBC we all could be happy with the knowledge that Hearn has control over your career! Will you just do what you are told so I can have some self esteem!” =limey “logic”

For all those who say turning down the $100M reported offer is dumb and shows Wilder doesn't want the fight, can you tell me what happens to Wilder's deal if a)Joshua loses to Miller (not likely but remotely possible) b) Joshua doesn't agree to fight Wilder on DAZN for whatever reason. Further, if Wilder is forced to fight an interim fight between May 18 and fighting Joshua, is he obligated to fight on DAZN even though his deal would be a three fight deal which includes Breazeale and Joshua.

All this deal really is is an attempt to hurt PBC and inflate dazn subscribers. Wilder is consistently the highest ratings beast for Showtime and his fights did over 2m viewers for the PBC time buy era on FOX/NBC. Dazn wants those viewers who tune in to see wilder on showtime and who bought that ppv. They want that 325,000 people paying $10 month for dazn. This isn’t rocket science. Dazn wants to force PBC out of business and wants pbc’s fighters. Wilder now kno s what he is worth in boxing....and as the great line from Conan the Barbarian goes, “he did not care anymore, life and death, the same. Only that the crowds would be there to greet him with howls of lust and fury. HE BEGAN TO REALIZE HIS SENSE OF WORTH.....HE MATTERED.”

ANd by the way....the PBC haters know that. Those who want dazn to control boxing in the USA want to see PBC go under....they can’t stand the idea of Al Haymon being the most influential man in American boxing, even if they are Canadians, Australians, limeys, etc....they don’t care if it’s hearn or arum, they just can’t abide Haymon being top dog....they HATE seeing him successful

He likes that he is free to move about but doesnt move about because he is 100% loyal to Showtime and Fox. So he may aswell be signed to a contract with them. Thats how ****ing ****** this man is, Fury gets tied down for millions, Joshua gets tied down for millions, Wilder doesnt get millions and then ties himself down for free.

They ask for offers and when they get them they say they dont want to be dictated to. They say things should be negotiated then refuse to negotiate. They say its not about the money then say 100 million isnt enough, they say the want the Joshua fight but everytime they get an offer or a contract they turn it down or claim to not bother reading it.

I think we are now well beyond the "Is he isnt he ducking Joshua" dilema. Yes he is.

Wow, look at all the Wilder fans reaching far up their asses to try and find reasons for turning down 100 million and unification fights (plural). At this point, Wilder won't fight AJ if they offer him 100 BILLION just so he can keep that belt. He said he wants a body on his record, right? Well, at this point, I hope that body is himself because it would help the heavyweight division get one champion. He's been holding that belt hostage for long enough. I honestly hope he goes out like Stevenson did because Stevenson was doing the same thing. And no, I don't feel bad for saying that either

Dumb? If I were to compare where you are in life to where he is, who would you venture to guess is more successful? Collar that immature dog lad, he’s lost his chain....

Yes, Wilder is not a smart man. And for ducking Joshua he's a disgrace to boxing and a paper champion.
