You and me don't ever agree but I'll agree with you on this! Those compubox stats are bullshet! I don't even pay attention to them cause they are unreliable!
I can't believe they actually keep track of garbage stats like compubox numbers,..??
Canelo supposedly landed about half the punches in the 2nd Triple g fight than Spence did vs Mikey but Canelo pretty much rearranged Triple g's face with half the punches landed... So compubox wants me to believe Spence landed almost twice as many punches as Canelo and Mikey wasn't anywhere near beat up as Triple g??? Yeah sure!
Those compubox numbers are a fuccing joke!

Let's see how Errol Spence's chin holds up against CANELO's power punches.

The thing is, he didn't take that many shots...compubox was heavily off that night....most times. They had a running count that was counting blocked shots live on the screen. It should just be used as a general barometer of how the action went as opposed to something factual.

Everyone knows that and those punches all hurt more than a jab. If you were as knowledgeable as you might think you'd also know it's well known compubox gets it wrong all the time. Sometimes massively, like they did in Spence-Garcia. Seems to be Spence fans that have a problem with me pointing this out, maybe they should drop the bias.

I’m not singing the praises of compubox and yes I realize it’s simply people clicking buttons when they think a punch has landed. What I’m saying is Garcia was getting hit a lot. I do believe he partially blocked a lot of those punches because he was fighting so defensively but the guy was taking punishment and I think the numbers are closer to being right than they are wrong.

U said how his chin would hold up. So u r assuming he won’t stand twelve rounds w somebody who only knocks out inferior competitors. Canelo power isn’t that great. Canelo has only fought two p4p guys and he got schooled by one WHO WAS SMALLER and got two gifts vs the other one. Dummy 😂🤔

The jabs are what made it look like he missed a lot. That's why they have the power punches landed section.

Not every jab is meant to land. Some jabs are used to gage distance and some are used to blind the opponent or keep him at arm's length. Some are used purely as a set up punch for a power shot.

Therefore the more meaningful category is the power punches landed category, it tells the truth story of how accurate a puppy puncher the boxer is.

Not all the power shots were head shots in fact most were body shots.
