Why do ppl want to see Spence vs a 40 year old way past prime Pacquiao?

The media is trying hard to sell us that fight because it would do good numbers and they dont care about fighters health or mismatches, the same media, who made people believe that Mikey Garcia vs Spence is a 50/50 fight, but why do some of you boxing fans want to see Spence vs 40 year old Pacquiao?

When Floyd was 40 years, he fought McGregor and the little asian kid.

But Manny, who is even smaller than Mikey Garcia, already got knocked out a couple times and looked terrible vs Horn years ago now needs to fight Spence?

The PBC has a couple welterweights in their stable, 2 of them who both hold a real belt. There is also very dangerous Crawford in his own division and Spence doesnt seem keen on calling him out.

Whoever wants to see Spence beat up 40 year old Pacman instead of facing another prime welterweight is not a boxing fan but just a bloodthirsty goon.

    Spence 2 best opponents:

Brook who came from a career ruining beatdown from GGG
Garcia, a lightweight whose best win is Adrien Broner

Isn't it time to fight a prime fighter that is not old, tiny or injured?

Who do you want to see Spence fight next?

I want to see Spence face a prime welterweight: Crawford, Thurman or Porter.

I enjoy mismatches as long my favourite fighter wins, let Spence beat down 40 year old Pacquiao.

the other welterweights are super big time cowards. a small natural 135 lber mikey fought spence no hesitate. 40 year old part time boxer way over the hill pacquiao willing to fight spence no hesitate either. meanwhile other top welterweights hide like scared girls. joke sport.

boxing is easily the most effeminate mediocre sport in the world. easily.

Casual fans would be into it and it would make some money but it would be a ****** fight. Some people would buy into the PBC marketing that Pacquiao would have a chance, just like they bought into the PBC marketing that said Spence-Garcia wasn't a mismatch. I would much prefer to see Spence fight either Thurman, Porter or Crawford.

The fact is their 'fans' would always rather their guy fight someone from another culture than 'one of their own'. Even thouhh pacquiao is 40 they can see it as an opportunity to brag if spence wins. just think about it , noone even seems to want to see crawford v spence, they cry about promo issues but that hasnt stopped them from accusing other fighters of ducking in the past. They dont want either guy to lose and are more than happy for them to avoid each other.

it's eather spence - pacman or spence vs. somebody who is not in the top 10. so i'd rather see spence - pacman. i wanted spence - ugas last year when ugas was his mandatory, followed by spence - porter and spence - thurman when he became active again and then spence - crawford somehow. it doesn't work that way in reality, unfortunatelly.

Pacquiao ishould retire soon. How much longer do you want him hanging around? Have the old man take another crack at it before bowing out.

why not? at this point in pac's career he will have a hard time against any of the top welterweights not just spence. he still have a very good chance beating them but he could also be beaten and hurt badly by either thurman, porter, garcia, crawford and of course spence. he could be the underdog to some of them. if he still wants to continue fighting might as well pick the best of the pbc boys which is spence...otherwise just retire.

                    Option #3

.... no matter how much you wanna hate on Pacquiao for being 40 years old, he is still relevant, and he is still great. And he still beats, or competes well against the elites @ 147
