Here is the shot from round 8 you posted in slomo. Notice this video doesn't ramp at impact like your below. This is not what caused it because Brook came on right after this exchange.

Great work exposing Robbie, the guy is a British agent creating false scenarios to the detriment of American boxing fans.....ok that overkill but still...

Spence is a great fighter. And continues to improve. I do however believe Brook ran him close and his gammy eye, courtesy of GGG, let him down.

Brook now past it. A Brook 2 years earlier would have beaten Spence. But as I say, Spence is improving all the time.

He was outboxing spence pretty easy. He had problems.making weight and the gas tank emptied earlier than expected.

Body shots and pace will do that.

Also attrition and stamina is a part of the game, hence the situps, running and high altitude training. If a fighter has struggles making weight or gets gassed early, that can't be used as an excuse.

GGG did some serious damage to the one eye, which most likely weakened the other orbital bone from the bridge of the nose. No doubt Brook was putting in some good work on Spence, he did very well in spurts with some slick boxing that made Spence look amateurish... Garcia on the other hand talked &TALKED a really good one, but decided to run & RUN the entire fight like a jack rabbit from the hunter in the direction of a big FAT check!

In your scenario, every time a fighter takes ANY damage in a fight there are residual effects that lingers to the the next fight. However, only in this case do I hear Golovkin's delusional fans makes this assumption.

I haven't heard one person said Lamont Peterson quit against the same Spence because of the damages he took in the Matthysse fight. Trust me Matthysse had his share of delusional fans himself.

Whether you love Spence or not, your assumption about Brook's broken orbital bone being attributed to Golovkin is just ******.
Let me give you a good lesson about life man. This is sincerely meant to try and help you out because you and a lot of others on here seem to struggle with it. Not everything is black and white. You should learn to look at things without bias and objectively and in isolation. No one is out to get you. Everything will be OK if you just work hard and keep your head down. Just because a fighter has a tough fight and takes some licks does not always mean that he will feel that going forward.

But in some cases that is true. As I said, you seem like the kind of guy who would reverse your position on something depending on if your guy's role in it. And that's a fanboy not a real boxing analyst so your opinion is moot to me.

Any logical person would say that the most likely scenario is Brook had some lasting damage from the very similar, very close by, issue GGG gave him. People can disagree with that. But to say that assumption is ******, I mean lol. It's the most logical case here. It doesn't diminish Spence as a fighter. He is great. But you have to learn to keep it real man.

Anyways as I said Spence was winning that fight with Brook the whole way. Obviously there will always be a question of whether Brook was already damaged goods going in to that fight, but we will never know the answer to that. I hope Brook is healthy as he claims and I hope him and Spence mix it up at 154 to see if it is more of a 50/50 type fight rather than 60/40. Brook can't really box like Spence but he may be stronger in some ways and can have an effective gameplan to try and bully him in a way if he can implement it.

Lol thank you. I don't know why some people are so hesitant to admit that lol. I mean it's just the most likely case here but some people are willing to dig their heels in about this lol
