But again that's not the point - the point is that Brook either 1) has weak orbital bones 2) GGG broke that whole area and Spence finished it off or 3) Brook got really unlucky and a big puncher broke one eye then a big puncher broke the other one, when no one had ever done that to him before, and neither guy has really wrecked someone to that extent before either.

I like Spence but more likely than not that GGG did most of that damage and Spence finished off that eye that wasn't surgically repaired
Why give Spence any credit at all? Maybe it was Golovkin disguised as Spence. He was upset people were saying he got exposed by Brook and wanted an opportunity to break the other eye.
Obviously the real Spence is not that good because he couldn't even stop a lightweight right?

I’m fan Errol Spence fan. That fight was close. Brook May have been winning, but who cares. Winning rounds or not, Errol made Brook quit. Save the injury excuses. A rematch doesn’t make sense at this point. Spence gains nothing for beating Brook again. Brook should look to fight other top welters and win to make a rematch possible. He will quit again.though

Lol I said that in that same post you are quoting. Didn't say he was great. Said he is great. I probably have him higher pfp than you bra.

I also said this earlier - that Spence was winning the whole way against Brook. Look it up if you want. :0

I'm just keeping it real that logically it seems like GGG probably did a lot of damage to Brook in that area and to think it was all Spence is a little optimistic if you are a Spence fan.

Again Spence is great, I love him. Don't like that he couldn't spark out Mikey but what can you do. I don't judge fighters by what I want them to be or what I see occasionally, I put it all together and form my opinion.

If Spence faced Brook first and then GGG, and Brook had those same injuries, I would say the same thing in reverse. That Spence probably caused that damage. I feel like most people who give Spence credit for Brook's other eye issue would then suddenly change their mind and say it was all Spence and GGG just finished it off.

Most people on here are just purely fans of some fighters so will spin anything they can to make their guy look good. I try to keep it real with what I see and even if it isn't my guy that is doing some good work I still give him credit because as fighters these guys deserve the praise when they earn it.

Some people will just argue for whatever helps their guy or what looks good for their guy.

Listening to Brook you would almost think his eye orbital bone broke by itself.
Instead of the acurrate punishment he took to his eye that broke his face.
Errol Spence fractured his face Brook should work on not getting punched in the face. Better yet he should retire before someone knocks an eye out. I’d hate to see him become permanently debilitated over boxing. Time to retire before he gets retired.

There's no "keeping it real" about what you said. You're making an assumption that you can't prove definitively.

In your scenario, every time a fighter takes ANY damage in a fight there are residual effects that lingers to the the next fight. However, only in this case do I hear Golovkin's delusional fans makes this assumption.

I haven't heard one person said Lamont Peterson quit against the same Spence because of the damages he took in the Matthysse fight. Trust me Matthysse had his share of delusional fans himself.

Whether you love Spence or not, your assumption about Brook's broken orbital bone being attributed to Golovkin is just ******.

Spence vs Brook was close in the first half, because Spence was slowly breaking Brook down, which he did. Brook is a quality boxer who beat Porter. No one was expecting a walk-over.

How many fights has Amir Khan been in that he was "winning" before getting KTFO. Results matter. Brook can also say he was putting it on GGG before getting the other side of his face caved in. Like I said, results matter.

Spence told Brook to his face he would absolutely fight him again as soon as he got a belt. Brook is shying away from the top guys at 154 for some reason. He hasn't had a meaningful fight since Spence.
