Comments Thread For: Katie Taylor Eyes Delfine Persoon, Undisputed Fight In June

With each fight, Katie Taylor continues to expand her worldwide appeal as well as send a message that she's simply one of the best boxers in the world today. The scary part is, she's only just getting started. The unbeaten rising superstar from Ireland once again stole the show from her place as an undercard attraction, this time in front of a healthy mix of Irish fans in attendance for her pre-St. Patrick's Day title fight in Philadelphia. Her latest adventure resulted in a one-sided 9th round stoppage of Brazil's Rose Volante in their three-belt lightweight unification clash Friday evening at Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

If press reports are to be believed, the final unification with Persoon is pretty much nailed on for the Joshua-Miller card. Get Serrano for Taylor's next fight in the Autumn, and make the Braekhus fight for early 2020. I'd definitely fancy Taylor to beat down Serrano, but Taylor-Braekhus will be a close one if it happens.

TAYLOR is a massive talent but I think Serrano will beat her but she can beat Brækhus who I feel will show her age anytime now, especially when she fights someone on her level and younger!

She happens to be a very good fighter in a sport where I'm hoping she will find a few more challenges .. persoon, Serrano , Cameron , Mayer hamadouche ( if she can make progressive fights to improve ) but that's about it on the immediate horizon .. past 3 in the lightweights the talent, records and ability is terribly poor I'm afraid ..

Her wanting the belts to put on the line for each fight is unheard of. Most are scared to risk one let alone the whole division's. She wants the added risk. Likes the added pressure. Katie Taylor continues to impress me even after gaining my utmost respect..

She definitely impressed me last fight. I went in with a negative perception of women boxing, but Taylor pressed the action and delivered some serious damage to Volante.

So if she beats her and Serrano she’s basically completed boxing, lol

It would to Braekhus coming down to 135, because she aint beating her at 147.
