it's such a disrespect to even ask this question. tito is literally pound for pound one of the hardest punchers in boxing history for sure in the discussion for hardest puncher in Welterweight history. He was bigger and stronger then Spence with power to knockout full fledged Middleweights. His only losses were to top elite HOFers and none got into a fire fight with him. And he wasn't just a ****er he had boxing skills too.

this is the problem with so many newbies that overrate beating up on tomato cans. Got one idiot saying well Tito lost to Winky so Spence would beat him too. Like as if Winky is a bum LMAO Winky is bigger stronger more skilled then Spence. A first ballot HOFer and was a top P4P fighter in his own right and I believe the last Undisputed light middleweight champ of the world and he did all that BEFORE beating Tito. Spence hasn't even faced ANY of the other world champs or top guys today in his own division. Winky beat them all then moved up and beat tito. The irony is I see a lot of names of posters who have killed GGG for beating up on bums and being overrated and they the same now doing the same thing for Spence.

No way stiff legged chinny Trinidad can handle someone like Spence. Not to mention the man was absolutely awful against southpaws.

Trinidad is easily one of the most overrated fighter I've ever seen. He's so deficient it's almost comical. Clear case of nostalgia overriding objectivity.

Prime Tito breaks down Spence. The guy was at another level at 147.

You worried about Tito who fought how many world champs and great fighters? Beat multiple HOF southpaws by the way. But not worried about Spence who has yet to face even 1 top fighter today let alone 1 great welterweight. We don't even know about Spence's chin against today's fighters let alone how it would stand up against one of the biggest punchers EVER. This is the problem fighting bums make you look invincible it's the GGG syndrome. The quality of your opponents matter. Today's Top 10 Ring and ESPN rankings and Spence has yet to face a single fighter on either of these lists. Tito only lost to alltime greats. If Spence retired today he is already age 29 but his record is trash having fought a damaged Brook and Garcia who he dragged up 2 weight classes. The rest of his opponents are irrelevant and bums almost none were top 10 ranked by Ring or ESPN at the time he fought them. By 29 Tito had already won titles in 3 weight classes, beat way more top ranked fighters, HOFers, and world champs. For example Tito by 29 had beat somewhere between 10-15 world champs. Spence hasn't unified belts and has only faced 3 opponents who have EVER held a world title in his entire career. Only 1 of those men actually held a title in Spence's own weight class and that was Brook.

There are levels to this shyt. Nobody had more shyt talkers then GGG fans who said he would beat every alltime great Middleweight and you saw how that worked out once he finally face top guys at middleweight. Let Spence beat the Thurman, Crawford of the worlds before you think he could ever handle alltime greats in the history of welterweight.

Two great champions and two of my all time favorites. I don't like either one of them losing even a fantasy fight. I'll pick Trinidad now because he is more proven. A few more great wins by Spence and maybe I would pick Spence.

The problem with people like you is that you are conflating greatness, accomplishments and resume with actual ability. Do I think Golovkin had an illustrious a career as Hagler or SRR? Of course not. But if it was down to a 12 round match with all abilities equal, I would take Golovkin every time.

And as far as Trinidad's ability against southpaws goes, all I could remember was him circling straight into Wright's left 75% of the time and going into a jab contest while hardly throwing the straight right. That right here is a sign of a man who doesn't know how to fight southpaw fighters.

A southpaw who can **** and box is a bad match up for Tito. Spence via wide UD.

Shouldn't it be based solely on styles and not resumes ?
