Porter isn't stopping Mikey. He's not that type of puncher. And Porter lately has been trying to box more but if he just tries to overwhelm Mikey, then he gets caught with clean counters. Spence pressured Mikey, but always managed distance well and picked his shots well. Porter isn't capable of that.

So Mikey would be better off taking on another WW first, someone like Alexander or even Berto, and then he can fight Porter.

Mikey not making 135 again I don't think, if he does then he moves back down and DESTROYS Luke Campbell. I think 140 and maybe some Catchweights in between 140-147 is more realistic.

As for Spence Jr, Pacquiao fight is another BIG fight back in Texas but it is completely up to Pacquiao. I would much rather see Spence Jr start to Unify and fight Porter to be honest. He can write his own legacy without Pacquiao by unifying this current ERA. Spence Jr Path and next 3 Fights should be: Porter, Thurman and Crawford in that order. Pacquiao fight does nothing for him either just a bunch of "You Beat A OLD Pacquiao"

Spence vs Crawford is the fight everyone wants to see at 147 but I can't see that happening anytime soon. Is it going to be Pac later this year?
Mikey Garcia should head back to 135lbs to fight Luke Campbell (WBC mandatory) this summer, before fighting Richard Commey to close out the year and forcing the Lomachenko fight in early 2020.

Pacquiao's not going to want the smoke, especially when he still has a Thurman fight that's also going to cover his guarantee. Fully expect Spence to fight Porter.

Spence-Manny on deck for AT&T Stadium this summer!
I hope you're right and Spence/Pac is likely but I don't think Mikey will do business with Arum and I don't think Haymon will make him.

I agree. But you have to consider the kinda of money a Pac fight brings to Spence. Most of the time money trumps legacy.

Porter almost beat thurman and he beat danny garcia. I couldn't ever imagine spence shutting them 3 out 120 107. Mikey is a low level welter, i know styles make fights or whatever but i didnt see much quality there at all and i had 12 rounds to spot something.

                  Campbell might beat him.

Spence would absolutely win almost every round vs DSG, or possibly every round just like he did against Mikey. And we will see just what Spence will do against Porter since there is a good chance that fight happens next. I mean it's between Porter or Pacman next for Spence.

Spence is a peaking fighter who is getting better and better. He's a guy who picked up boxing later than other fighters do. A lot of these guys step in the gym when they are 6-8 years old. Spence stepped inside a boxing gym when he was 15 years old. So while age wise he is similar to DSG/Porter/Thurman/etc, he's the one peaking from all of them while they are pretty much set at what they are going to be. I don't think either of the Porter or DSG fights will be competitive for Spence, I just don't.

Healthy and in sync Thurman could pose some issues for sure....At least early on. But hard to see him be able to take Spence's body attack for 12 rounds.

Crawford is the one where it is really card to call. I'm leaning Spence, but definitely not super confident in that pick. Truly a great WW match up on par with DLH/Trinidad on paper. But this one I think won't disappoint like the DLH/Trinidad fight.

I think he can overwhelm Mikey and keep on that pressure. If they make that fight I'd put some money on Porter by KO/TKO.
