Originally posted by loui_ludwigI am a Pac fan, i give Erik Morales credit. But saying he lost the fight because he was gassed out. Like i posted numerous times before, Erik trained 2-3 weeks more than Pacquiao. Watched both the 2 fights, Erik might have a granite chin but he has a weak body. Pacquiao was hitting Morales in the rib cage area and u can see Erik's reaction, he was backing up. Don't tell me its because he was out of shape. In the 2nd fight, u saw Pac landed numerus straight left to Erik's face.
What does hurt means? Do u necessarily need to feel pain in order to say ur hurt? No. Look at the 2nd round of the 2nd fight, EM held into the ropes to avoid knockdown when Pac landed a punch on EM's face. Morales did not necessarily felt pain, but his brained was rattled and losing his balance, which in other word, he got hurt. On the 1st fight, its either 11th or 12th round, Pac hurt and rattled Morales brain, that cause him to almost get knockdown, but did feel any pain. Also, u have to undderstand the body, head to toe. When u keep getting punched to the face(where the brain controls the body and the nerves running down to the chest going to the legs) and to the chest area, it afffects the conditioned of ur legs. Have u seen anybody get punch to the head and their legs buckled. Erik has a granite chin, but those punches to the head and body caused him to get tired. It does not matter how long is the training, but once fight time comes and ur getting pummeled, then ur conditioning will be affected.
YOur one of the more sensible posters on this thread. You at least give Morales some credit that he deserves. I gave Pacman credit on my other posts...i credit his power, his will, his skill and his conditioning. No doubt he is a good fighter but everyone else on this thread sucks his nuts so bad they forget that Morales is a power punching elite level fighter. Back on topic...Morales was rocked a few times...buzzed whatever you wanna call it but he was never seriously hurt. If he was he would not have made it to round 10. Its that simple man. I also never said he was out of shape...i simply stated that the body shots took there toll on him and made him tired. Where in the fight did you ever see him hanging on or on his knees? none...only in the 10th and that was because of the body shots.Comment

long enough to come to the conclusion that Morales gets zero respect. It's all about Pacman destroying Mexican Legends.Comment
