I can see this degenrating, so I'll post quickly. I think Pac takes this one much in the same way he took the last one. It's a shame because I think Morales' career could take a downturn if he does eventually loses to Pac again, but that's boxing.

However, if he does manage a win, which imo is unlikely, it would be a huge boost for him.

Overall I can't wait. Both these guys are great fighters and very exciting to watch.

Hahahaha, people getting defensive about my comments all ready.

        It's simple.

If Pac wins, cong**** to him. He's going to come in a decent favorite to win and has every reason to continue to win, not lose... just more of the same from last fight.

If Morales wins it's unexpected and shocking. Morales is battle worn to the extreme and is close to retirement most likely. If he loses, oh well, he was old and hardly the fighter he was 3 years ago is the built in excuse.

        It's practically a lose/lose situation for Pac.

Pac beating Erik in the third fight does absolutely nothing for his legacy as a fighter. In fact.....I think it diminishes it.

The bottomline is that nobody is taking away anybody's past accomplishments whether they win or lose. Pac knocked out Erik the last time out but that doesn't take away Morales' great accomplishments and his HOF status. It works both ways.

What? Why, cuz a second knockout win of a great fighter is a BAD thing? The rubber match will show whether or not Morales' excuses were valid, or if Pacquiao just kicked a lesser fighters ass.

I disagree. Eric loses, it doesn't hurt his legacy. Pac loses, it will definitely hurt his legacy. 2 loss at the end of your career to pacman doesn't mean that much. However, 2 losses to Morales when he's ending his career and you're in your prime.... that's a problem.
