Comments Thread For: Pacquiao on Spence: Why Not? We'll Give Fans a Good Fight

Errol Spence Jr called out Manny Pacquiao after a dominant victory against Mikey Garcia to retain his welterweight world title at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Spence held onto his IBF belt and picked up the vacant WBC diamond welterweight strap courtesy of a unanimous decision against Garcia on Saturday, judges in Texas scoring the bout 120-107, 120-108 and 120-108 in the incumbent's favour.

I still think Pacquiao has a shot but a Thurman fight would garner more interest and money while seeming as a more competitive fight.

I dont think Manny will take it, I know Spence will and I want to see if all the Manny Roach talk prior will get the fight made, I see Manny going elsewhere Errol will beat the sht out him, after the intial yeah ok Manny looked really weird and just took off.

I will be surprised if Manny fights Spence.

Yeah I'm not too excited about old Manny being beat up by a bigger, Fresher and Stronger Spence. I don't think Pacman can do much to Errol at this age.

This Spence kid is losing is prime. He is already 29 and now fighting a lightweight and calling out nearly retired fighter instead of top 154 -160 guys if he can`t get Crawford, Thurman, Danny, Porter.

His career is on the same level as 2 years ago when he beat Brook.

IF PBC makes this fight next, they are morons.

You have to milk Manny for one more payday, and there is plenty of credible options.

Manny is enjoying his swan song, let him enjoy it, fighting Spence should not happen at all to be honest, thats a fight a 40 year old man does not need, esp one that is the biggest draw in the division.

This guy just doesn't seem to know what fear is. He doesn't even understand what danger means

this is just biased, he wasn't fighting in cowboys stadium in front of a HUGE crowd 2 years ago.

This is a debate, be objective.
