Spence Put On a CLINIC for Guard smashing 345>75?

So the current hashtags are 345>75 landed and clinic.

Errol’s the bigger guy just attacking relentlessly on a guard not allowing the other reset/setup. That’s default effective aggression, using work rate over a smaller guy... seems normal.

However that’s not a clinic when you’re allowing the smaller guy to walk you down?

Reach deprivation and the risk for hard 154 power counter attacking seems more like what many predicted, not a “boxing clinic.”

Why would we need to that? Spence has ways of winning fights and makes adjustments as he did. Made reach harder for Mikey and basically didn’t allow Mikey to setup his left hook or right, it’s called great defense. But this wasn’t a chess match fight, just a bigger fighter overwhelming the smaller guy with workrate. That’s not a boxing clinic.

That's roughly 29-6 per round. That was a glorified sparring match at best, but I'm sorry, I just don't see it. That many "power" punches and couldn't even shake a dude that much smaller than you? Such a set up.

You basically broke down why it was a boxing clinic and then said it wasn't one.

          Adjustments
          Great Defense
Didn't allow Mikey to set up
          Overwhelmed
          Workrate

            Spence didn’t adjust like Mayweather...

Adjustments as I said “reach.” Being more conservative with defense and pulling back 1 foot for jab tagging doesn’t mean “boxing clinic.” That just an adjustment.

Mikey walked Spence more than any other advisory before him. A boxing clinic means you don’t let the other fighter question any position of their own skill. When Lamont walked Garcia, did Garcia put on a “boxing clinic?” Or just a victory?

That’s because attacking arms with follow ups racks up accumulative compubox. Just like when Golovkin grazed Canelo’s gloves or grazed his face they counted those as “effective landed.” This is why many don’t care for Compubox and skeptical network bias for whom they contract to score it.

Spence vs Garcia was realistic accumulation, not GGG vs Canelo compubox. This is why Don Trella and Moretti scored it close, and Byrd just wasn’t impressed with GGG. She was expecting a Spence performance to the body or straight hands

“Pressing forward” or “cutting off” however you want to call it. Spence did circulate around the ring in various rounds from the little guy, yes, not all 12 rounds consistently. A boxing clinic doesn’t apply.

Bro, let me break it down quick....

Adjustments were made when Mikey switched up his gameplan and tried to get inside. Slips, parrying, body work, and taking the fight back to the center of the ring showed that.

When Mikey questioned a certain position, Errol adjusted to it. The fact that Mikey lost from the outside and on the inside was telling. In every aspect of the fight he lost.

                    Ring Generalship
                    Offense
                    Defense
                    Clean Power punches
                    Jabs

A boxing clinic is you simply nullyfying your opponent. Especially a world class fighter like Mikey
